Not really. The Warriors got Festus Ezeli who could have probably have solved our bigman issues.

Been saying this for years. Now I'm not excusing Jefferson in any way shape or form and I'm glad we got rid of him, but he is a perfect example of a super athletic guy that came into the Spurs "system" and somehow turned into only a spot-up 3 point shooter.
Pop just doesn't know how to use those guys, so he hides behind the system. He'd rather have a flat footed, no hops 35 yr old that is "in the right spot" on D, than someone that will occasionally leave his man to go make a athletic play.
The problem is it restricts the amount of players they can trade for because it has to be someone who will fit the system.
