recommend the best dog breed

Considering the outside and large yard circumstances, I'd have to recommend the dog that I have; the smartest most loving breed there is IMO - A Border Collie!

not at all. my one year old son climbs all over our dog (lab mix) and she is very good with him. If he is going a bit overboard, she gives him a soft bite, and he usually stops, but if he keeps going she just gets up and moves.

#1A) Yellow or Chocolate Lab (common-but all round great pets)

Border Collie is supposed to be by far the smartest dog out there. I remember seeing an episode of BBC's Horizon where they demonstrated one Border Collie's ability to reason abstractly.

There's a special place in hell for people who put clothes on their dog.

I love Labs, but they're some stupid dogs...and as pups, they're incredibly mouthy. Damn things will chew anything then chew the ground around it.

American Standard Poodles are incredible dogs....athletic as all hell and fucking brainiacs. Love 'em.

Mini schnauzers are smart as fuck and affectionate tbh. Can be a little barky to strangers but they loyal
