This is the place we are going for mother's day dinner.
I didn't pick the place so just wondering what to expect.
It is the one off 281 and Evans.
Online it looks/sounds pretty good and so the the commercials.

I'll wait and see how CC rates it and how disgusting it is.
It's meh, think a cross between Applebee's and Chili's, slightly more upscale.
I guess I'll survive.
i went once and was not impressed
Crazy i was going to bump an old thread.
this weekend was the first time I've ever been, and it was the one off 281 Evans.
Over priced, food tasted bland, small serving size. Never going back. No wait to sit down on Saturday night at 7pm should have been a clue.
The self serve salad bar was weird for a place like that too.
I'd rather eat at Chili's tbh, similar food and cheaper, I went to Ruby's twice I think and it was okay, but there's a reason I ain't been back
go to longhorn steakhouse instead
papadeaux's
Ruby Tuesdays was paid for the one time I went, so I really didn't pay attention to the cost, but I did think it was good.
Wow, you and I have different tastes. . Longhorn Steakhouse blows. If you are going for that level of steakhouse, Saltgrass FTW.
Agreed that Saltgrass > Longhorn.
But the last steak I had at Longhorn was incredibly good.
It was a well seasoned/marinated flame grilled ribeye that I cut with my fork.
I gotta go with Drachen here. I have never had such a tough, overly seasoned steak than at Longhorn; it's not even on my "one more chance" list, it's a definite "never again". Ruby Tuesday is out of Chili's and Applebees category, those are closer to Jim's than Ruby Tuesday's. I've only been to Ruby's a few times and only had seafood; the crab cake, lobster tail and grilled shrimp trio is great, as is the Salmon Florentine. And I love a trip to the salad bar, it's pretty good quality like the ones steakhouses had years back.
If you want something comparable in price with a more diverse menu, maybe try BJ's, they have something for everyone and decent beer. I'll also rec Clear Springs again. Both are good and in that general vicinity.
Only knock I have on BJ's is the servers. Very hit and miss. Once I ordered a dark draft porter craft beer that I knew and the cute little girl served me a light ale that could have passed for Budweiser (might have been). I was very polite and told her that wasn't what I ordered. She assured me that was the beer that came out of the tap that I had selected. I again nicely suggested to her that she tell her manager that I thought they had the wrong keg hooked up to the tap and he might want to check it out. She giggled and assured me that could never happen. I tried one more time and she was like...."uhhh....dude...it's a beer...just drink it...that's what you ordered". I was not in warrior mode and drank the crap but it was definitely a fuckup and bubblehead didn't get it fixed.
BJs >>>>>>>>>. Ruby Tubesteak
painfully ordinary
don't know how it is fun for you morons to celebrate fucked-bitch's day tbh. just because a bitch has been fucked and has bred some cubs it doesn't make her anything different than what she herself was born to be (a bitch) tbh
Haven't been to one in years...but the one I went to was just ok...as others have said.
