the one thing that is nice is that the spurs have two guys in their prime and one who is still on his way up. it's also nice that all 3 of them are under 30 years old.

The most important one will be 30 soon.
so what?
It doesn't matter how young the other players are if Duncan is over the hill.
that's not "over the hill", especially for a big.
at least try next time.
He says Duncan is over the hill so Spurs can't have the best trio
Now let's see he picks Suns and Heat
For the Suns Nash is 32 years old but he can't be over the hill because he's not a spurs player. Then he picks the Heat and Shaq is 34 years old but he can't be over the hill because of the same reason above.
Don't forget the conference effect; DET and MIA get their stats against a much weaker conference.Quote:

When they're clicking, Duncan, Ginobili, and (ahem) Parker are the best trio by far.
that's ONLY if parker plays his game.Quote:

Don't get me started on Parker...
He's just a few steps behind Jaren Jackson in my book, and Jackson had a better jumper.
Reg season averages
TD 20.3 TP 16.6 Manu 16.0
Playoffs
TD 23.6 Manu 20.8 TP 17.2
Im not talkin trash about parker..
Im just saying he has to play his A-Game if he wants to be at the top
Scoring doesn't impress me.
I want Parker in the 7.0-7.5 assist per game category.
The Spurs have enough scoring punch.
They need a consistent point guard to run the team, and not have to put your two-guard over there to pick up the slack.
In the Spurs offense it's hard for Parker to get those numbers.
On answering about why I picked the suns and heat. Their most important player is young. Stoudemire and Wade are the future and I don't expect Parker and Ginobili to be at that level to keep up after Duncan gets a little older.
Hey, Spursdaone, how many times do you have to be proven wrong in order for you to stop with your idiotic posts? :lolQuote:

What was your favorite trio of all time?
The 80's Celtics with Bird, McHale, and Parish?
The 80's Lakers with Magic, Worthy, and Jabbar?
the 00's Spurs with Duncan, Ginobili, and Parker?
the 50's Celtics with Russel, Jones, and Cousey?
The 90's Bulls with Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman/Grant?
The 70's Lakers with Chamberlain, West, and Baylor?
There have been some fine trios in this league.
HOW ABOUT THE TRIPLE THREAT...man they are non stopable..go spurs go!
Where's Isiah, Dumars, and Rodman/Laimbeer?Quote:
