Parker with a left calf injury. Not sure how serious it is, but Tony didn't look too disappointed so hopefully it's nothing.

Got kicked, he'll be fine for Sunday afterenoon.
He had some heat on it during the 4th but he was healthy enough to go back in the game. Again, possibly an indication that it's not too serious.
He wasn't really visibly limping or anything. He'll be fine.
he looked pretty bad in the second half all around
i think it was the play where he kept get knocked down on those moving screens that hurt him
ice/heat/ice/heat. He'll be fine.
Doesn't really need a thread, he's fine.
a whole bunch of ice but it doesn't look serious
yea at the post game interview he said he woukd be ready for sunday but he was limping his way to the locker room...hope its just a little soarness
He wasn't limping until AFTER the interview :lol "..but i'll be ready for sunday"..Limp. Looks ok to me.
Which leg? Didn't notice which one but could it just be what he's been dealing with since March?
Did he get kicked? I just figured he cramped up.
It's nothing. Said he was fine.
Calf bruise won't hurt his game for a few mins at a time, but it could diminish his agility the longer he plays if it lingers enough to lead into game 4. I hope it's not a big deal though, we badly need Tony on both ends of the floor this series.
Tony did look awful for the second half. Not sure if he was just tired or if he was hurt at all.
EDIT: "Awful" is not really the right word, but he only made three of his last 13 shots. Something was off. Pop played him A TON in the first half, though, and he seemed gassed.
Probably just a stinger. He didn't look depressed about it. Though it doesn't help that Sunday is such an early damn start.
He said he'll be ready. I'll trust the person who has the most insight.
Yeah neither Tony nor Steph's "injuries" looked too serious, but for what it's worth Curry's ankle sprain looked worse. Or at least his reaction to it (hobbling on the floor) suggests as much.
GSW fans have more to sweat about with Curry's ankle giving out like that.
He didn't ice it when he went to the bench for the final time I think.
Tony looked awful second half? LOL gtfo.
He's probably fine. Those little turns hurt like shit for a while, though.
That said, the Spurs did a GREAT job of chasing him around where he was having to cut hard to get the ball. Parker hit the deck a few times chasing him, but it was definitely worth the work. Get him thinking about that ankle in game 4 and he's less likely to hit his shots.
Tony on his injury: "Uh i dont know right now we'll see I'll do treatment all night long I got kicked pretty bad I don't know if it was Bogut or Jack but right now it's a good one it's pretty big we'll see how I feel tomorrow i have no choice I'm going to play on Sunday it's a quick turnaround and I'll just try to do my best to do the treatment and be ready by 12:30"
That quote is verbatim per his post game.
Might as well make a thread for each player this playoff re: injuries
Tony Parker is a BOSS. He'll be ready to go on Sunday.
In post game conference TP said his calf hurt pretty good but that he'd get treatment all night and be ready to go Sunday.
Hopefully it doesn't linger.
Curry's injury will really determine how much a less than 90% Tony hurts the Spurs.
just saw the press conference - he looked quite bad; visibly limping. let's hope he's ready to play on sunday, but if he isn't, no biggie as long as he's 100% for game 5
He'll miss 4 games. 3 this year and 1 at the beginning of next season.
Parker will be fine, Spurs have great trainers and they'll get him ready. It hurts tonight but its just swelling from the kick, nothing's torn or broken.
he gonna have a big bruise tomorrow morning. his calf muscle is gonna sore
Agree. If it was a kick to the calf, he'll be bruised, worst case. Stupid media trying to feed the fear mongering fair weathered fans. He should be a go for game 4.
He better be fine. Our offense is shit without him.
Bruise hurts like crazy but if given the choice with a basketball game to play in a day and a half I'd take the calf bruise from a kick over a sprained ankle. If Curry doesn't have change of direction cut ability he becomes an easy guard. That also affects the lift on his long range shot. Curry's ankle is huge for game 4 as the other shooter isn't at a level to take a series over as the lone gun.
Damn. Hinrich got kicked in the calf and has missed the last 6 games. Hope TP's isn't as bad.
wow if he's not sure he'd be able to play game 4, it must be pretty serious
Relax everyone, lets not Wylie Coyote this one. He'll be fine, he'll ice it, they'll rub the shit out of it and he'll be prepped by Sunday
anyone have tp's quote on his availability sunday? cause just right after the game he said in his post game interview he'll be fine and play sunday
A calf contusion would require ICE for the 1st 48. Probably an Anti-Inflam, maybe an early morning PT session to make sure the muscles are aligned and then more ICE. Sunday, we should see. They didn't say what Grade the injury was but let's hope it's just Grade 1. Something like this is a pain tolerance issue. We don't want to see Tony try to overcompensate and wreck something else. We need for him to be as balanced as possible.

Tony Parker said it "feels like a baseball" is in his bruised left calf but he'll "definitely" play
Jeff McDonald @JMcDonald_SAEN
Parker has a baseball sized knot in left calf. Still "I can't see myself not playing," he says.
J.A. Adande @jadande
Pop on Tony Parker: "He'll play."
Swelling will probably go way down today with treatment.
The thing that worries me is that if Tony is going to be limping throughout the whole game and being passive. Don't want him hurting the team out there or making the injury worse.
Jeff McDonald@JMcDonald_SAEN
Looking at film, Parker says Bogut is the one who kicked him. Knows it wasn't intentional.
Jeff McDonald @JMcDonald_SAEN
Parker said no X-rays on his calf. Docs confident it's only a bruise, albeit a nasty one.
His sprain didn't look that bad to me. Just looked more like a little tweak. He hobbled around a little in between plays, but seemed like he was 90-95% during them.
Guy def won't be missing any games. Especially not with Mark Jackson slave driving his best players for 48 minutes every game, completely negating their youth advantage the longer the playoffs go on.
Well that sucks
Bad news, thought everyone was just getting healthy. Still can't believe the Spurs are stuck with the every other day schedule again. Parker is pretty much the engine of the team now, now without him fully attacking, the Spurs will be in deep trouble.
Spus won't be in trouble, he'll play through it, the biggest issue will be when he sits but when he gets into the flow of the game it'll be fine.
Parker bought the Spurs a game with his great play. Now it's time for his teammates to step up and start hitting some shots, that's all.
.
Anybody found the play when he was kicked to review it?
Tony's fine. Play ball.
I think this was it (7:35 left in the 4th Q)

Buck Harvey @Buck_SA
From Popovich on Parker: "Ready to go."
Cant figure out how to embed tweets, but the GS beatwriter said Parker jogging with an obvious limp.

pre-game exchange between Spurs - GSW assistants. acc. to Yahoo said one Spur was disrespectful..I don't know if it was Blair, his name was mentioned by Pete Myers

Pop said Tony's calf is READY to go... :tu

Apparently DeJuan Blair got into an argument with GSW assistants
Evan Doherty @YSportsEvan 1m Parker was about to head to locker room until trainer made him run around the center court logo in circles. #nba
This injury concerns me a little. I worry it will hinder him as the game progresses. Hopefully it is nothing.
Is Tim wearing leggings? :lol
The injury will affect Parker's explosiveness and jumping power. Parker is one tough SOB.
Funny how the Curry situation is all about drama. TP and the Spurs just go about their business. Curry and GS saying he's a game time decision and not being sure he can play. TP saying he'll play regardless off the bat. I bet you ten cents that Curry's situation is less problematic than TP's. Curry with the hero goodies.
The rest of the Spurs need to pick him up offensively and hit some shots. Need to keep strong defensively as in game 3. Team effort
I hope Curry's ankle explodes in a dramatic bloody spectacle and the Spurs make necklaces out of the bone fragments
thanks to Magic for mentioning Tony's injury. until then, all they talked about at halftime was Curry was injured.
:lol Magic shutting Simmons down. What a piece of excrement this Simmons guy is.
so TP's quad is also hurting now??
