My keys to Game 2:

Spurs
-Pace, Pace, Pace. Keep pushing tempo and run whenever the opportunity arises.
-Attack the rim. Whether it be Parker/Manu/TD/Splitter, the Spurs would be best served to keep attacking the rim. Grizzlies will make an emphasis to stay home on shooters. Only the way to free up shooters is a concerted effort to penetrate.
-Early work on Z-Bo. Repeat the same effort/strategies that made life tough for Zach in Game 1 and most of the RS.
-Run Pondexter off the 3

Grizzlies
-Establish Z-Bo early. Deeper touches, down screens, PnRs, extra spacing, basically whatever gets Randolph going.
-Allen on Parker. Probably from the outset in hopes of making Parker work harder and cause some TOs.
-Increase their physicality. I thought the Grizz were uncharacteristically soft for the most part in Game 1. I expect some hard fouls at the rim and more holding/hand checks that they usually get away with due to their reputation.

It's the Spurs' to win. Hopefully good guys can hit the perimeter shots.

My only key to this game tbh: Don't shoot 30 threes again. We won't hit 50% I hope we won't settle for the three that much. I think maybe 18-20 attempts will be fine, but I don't wanna see any of that bullshit where Manu dribbles into a guy then jacks up a three that goes in maybe 10% of the time.

Key to the game is defense. Defensive intensity of the last 5 games mixed with rebounding well.

On offense it's to move the ball around with sound execution and take the open in rhythm shot. If the Grizzlies want to help hard on ball rotation and drives again and leave 40%+ 3 pt shooters WIDE open then you take the shots. If they stay home on shooters you work the ball inside and get layups against their no shot blocking front line. Key is precision and execution while keeping the ball moving all night. Very few ISOs and watching one guy just dribble.

I'm assuming the Grizzlies will close out much harder, so the Spurs need to not keep jacking threes since they won't be as open. In other words, not just chuck them up expecting them to be as open as game 1.

The rest imo they just need to repeat what they did in game 1. I still don't think the Grizzlies have the offense to keep up with the Spurs. The Spurs' D is underrated while Memphis' offense is statistically below average. Unless they have a miracle game or the Spurs are absolutely ICE COLD. . .then Spurs will take this shit imo.
