Re: Duncan's getting a divorce?
This could be a good thing, with Amy out of his life, he may stay around for a few more years without pressure to quit. He will focus even more on basketball to make up for the failure of their relationship.

Like I said, scumbags.

You just have to hope it's totally mutual, I've seen guys go through divorce when they didn't want to, and it completely fucked them up. Hopefully TD wants out too..

Nah, I just don't like the horrible media so thirsty for dirt, instead of reporting real news, tbh. Always going after non issues.

Re: Duncan's getting a divorce?
I think Tim is professional enough to not let this bother him.
-
Re: Duncan's getting a divorce?
you guys act like express news had reporters camped out in the bushes outside his house. following him around in unmarked suvs. it was all public record.
and some dude from miami figured it out lol :lol

She cheated. It's been known for a while. These are people close to Tim that witnessed it & it's how it got to Tim. I've known about the divorce for weeks unfortunately.

Re: Duncan's getting a divorce?
let me guess. the bitch felt "lonely" "unloved" needed comfort. overwhelmed. She's the victim. right?

Re: Duncan's getting a divorce?
Let me preface the above by saying this is what the people who knew about the divorce said. Could still be incorrect, but does not appear to be wrong.

Re: Duncan's getting a divorce?
Good for Timmy. Getting divorced was the best thing that ever happened to me.
-
Re: Duncan's getting a divorce?
That doesn't mean that it's good for everyone, but glad you found happiness after divorce.

That's too bad. I'm sure that she'll spin it that Tim wasn't paying enough attention to her. She should have been classy enough to walk away before the cheating.

Not that it changes anything, but it may have also been something where they were separated but not divorced type of a thing. I didn't ask any details because it's sad and you never know at the time what is true, but they were correct about the divorce at this point so I would have to imagine there is at least some truth.
Just a really sad situation obviously anytime something like this happens to any family.

Sigh- this looks a bit worse than two drifting apart, not that that is not sad.
My best to all involved-may they all find the happiness that has escaped them for whatever reason.

Women have a way of cheating to "get back" at their husband for perceived injustices. If she feels he wasn't paying attention to her she could have done it for that. At least it wasn't a teammate as far as we know

Re: Duncan's getting a divorce?
Also, before anyone asks - no, I don't know Tim or have any sources. This isn't someone that is tuned into basketball operations. It was just something that got to me through a random person who appears to know the family outside of basketball.

Re: Duncan's getting a divorce?
Tim deserves a much better woman.
-
Re: Duncan's getting a divorce?
Not to stir up anything, but I don't think people realize that even the Spurs are not squeaky clean. Have had several people see numerous Spurs people doing things that aren't exactly classy.
-
Re: Duncan's getting a divorce?
:lmao whoever believes the spurs are squeaky clean is the same type of idiot that believes in Santa and the Easter Bunny
they are human. I'm sure Pop calls strippers to his house every so often. I also would not be surprised Pop does a little meth. Have you seen his face over the years. Manu probably does black masses and Parker surely has a dungeon in his house.
:lol squeaky clean

Re: Duncan's getting a divorce?
Wow that sucks but I suspect this not to bother Tim at all on the court. On the court is probably his get away from all this.

yep. the great inequality between women and men isn't over pay, it's the fact women can get boned and banged pretty much any time they want. meanwhile, guys have to either work it or throw some shekels at a bitch. Either way, it's an investment, but women don't have to do much, so if they feel slighted, they always have that trump card.
