I really hope someone asks one of the players or Pop about this after the game.

They probably deleted it to save their asses. It was there earlier...

Since when does Pop or any Spur player acknowledge outside shit in an interview? Pop would give the reporter shit for asking it, though.

It could be either and unless Tony takes it personally it doesn't really matter. However, by pandering to the local crowd through the "We don't bluff" stuff, the owner did delegitamized his argument that it was strictly motivated by a full restaurant even if that was the case.

Re: Tony Parker denied service at Memphis restaurant
Wow, and I thought NBA egos were large. Kelly English...does anybody know this fool other than esoteric Memphis food critics?

Re: Tony Parker denied service at Memphis restaurant
I really want to walk in there at 7 pm on Saturday night and let loose about 2 dozen rats and a swarm of hornets.
Seriously, fuck Memphis. It's a shitty place filled with shitty people. I think IF this thing goes 5 a flash mob at 4 am blasting music and hitting the alarms at their hotel is in order. Fuck them

No shit, it's gotta be worse than being a cop. I wouldn't go anywhere other than a Chipotle/Subway type place where they don't know you're coming and you watch them prepare your food. Other than that I'm sending the Asian trainer out to get me some takeout under a fake name or some shit

Re: Tony Parker denied service at Memphis restaurant
So you're telling me if Z-Bo showed up he wouldn't tell granny to get the fuk up and make space? Bullllllllllshiittt.

Re: Tony Parker denied service at Memphis restaurant
They (Memphis) had the best chance to stop Tony!

:lol Since when is twitter considered a court of law, or a place where "arguments" are expected to be legitimate?

Re: Tony Parker denied service at Memphis restaurant
Who cares?? I'm sure if a few people here owned a restaurant they'd deny service to certain people (Joey Crawford)

Re: Tony Parker denied service at Memphis restaurant
Calm down, spurfan...this isn't some grand, Rosa Parks-ian moment of social injustice. Calm the fuck down and eat your Hot Pockets

Right, twitter = facts. It's not like you could say whatever you want on twitter afterwards to cover your ass because of the shitstorm and bad publicity.

HGH is a protein. It'd break down in the stomach so it wouldn't really be much of a concern. But, replace HGH with poo, and you could potentially get some issues that might prevent him from playing a game or two.

This is exactly what I think happened. No biggie.

Exactly what I was thinking. I read about this we don't bluff thing and it makes no sense. Do they think the rest of the league sees them as not worthy? I guess it's best to stay with the grit, grimy, slime angle.

He can easily eat @ McDonalds if he wants a burger, IMO.
He was probably looking for some French menu like escargot, who knows!

:lol
He must have missed eating the snails so much :lmao Looked around for some French resto.
That, despite the death threat huh!

Re: Tony Parker denied service at Memphis restaurant
The real outrage is that Joey Crawford walked in right behind Tony and they made a table for him.

Re: Tony Parker denied service at Memphis restaurant
On a related note...
If you were a pro athlete, on the road, would you be concerned that your food was being sabotaged?
I don't even like to complain at restaurants because I don't want anyone spitting, spooging, or whatever on my food.
