No I stated that Pop obv isn't going to throw the game.. This was a question for the fans, and whether or not they would rather go into next round on a 6-game winning streak and 8 or 9 days of rest.

That's what I'm talkin' about!!! :ihit:ihit:ihit:ihit:ihit:ihit:ihit:ihit:ihit
Yes, we definitely want to go for the jugular on Monday night and humiliate the fuck outta' them on their homecourt, in front of their homecrowd.... Just as they humiliated us in '11. Never forget. FUCK Memphis!! It's sweet, sweet revenge time. :devil
... And of course, the rest would be SUPER awesome for our team as well. :D
manu plays best on 3 days rest
I wouldn't be surprised if the Heat don't get past the Pacers and I'm not sure how to feel about that tbh. But if it's the Pacers that take them down then so be it. I just want to see them lose and if we earn a shot to beat them, all the better. Still need 1 more. Finish it !!!
LOL anybody who makes fun of another person's "internet thread making ability" is the biggest loser of all. And on another team's website no less.... Seriously, think about that for a second. And realize you have no life. And there's nothing you can do to change that. Have a good one.
Fuck yes.
Hell yes. More rest the better for this old ass team.
Actually, Memphis prob wnts to end this soon, too
Really? I would be SHOCKED if the Heat didn't get passed the Pacers.. which is why I'm about 90% sure they're still going to. If Indy had finished Game 1, I'd say they have a pretty good shot. But that loss will come back to bite them in the ass when they lose one of the next two at home, if not both. I think they just awoke Lebron tbh.
But in response to the second part of your statement, the spurs would absolutely rather play Indiana than Miami.. both would be tough, but the Heat are just a bad match up for us.
Sweep the leg, sweep the grizzlies
Revenge is sweeter with a sweep. Drive for five baby!
Spurs want to finish this series and get some rest and game plan.
Not that I'm insinuating you gift any team any game in the playoffs, but, they are? I continue to be amazed at how overrated this Grizzlies team is.
And this isn't me getting swept up in the moment, either. I haven't been concerned with this team for going on 2 years now. My concerns going into this series were all Spurs related (Parker's/Leonard's health, the likelihood that it would be every other day, Spurs recent penchant for choking in the playoffs). Once I found out the first one was essentially a non issue and that there would be a 3 day break between games 2 and 3, I was confident they'd win in 5.
Fewer opportunities for injury, fatigue, etc. More opportunity for Parker's calf to stop pestering him, for Duncan and Kawhi to rest their knees, more rest and healing in general. Rust is a matter of fan perception. Finish off these upstart bearpeople and silence 2011ers for good.
Memphis busy getting their fishing rods together. Luckily they already have a Leur.

rust isn't as big of a deal if you don't have homecourt. You have less pressure to win the first two.
You know your team is playing well when the fans are worried about, of all things, the implications of a sweep victory in the conference finals.
To answer the OP: Of course we want a sweep. The 2004 ALCS is a statistical anomaly in pro sports for sure (in that instance, baseball), but I don't want to leave any equivalent chance of a collapse like that happening to the Spurs.
You are. But BatManu20 is right behind you. Dude in the game thread is a disaster, like he's watching the game while standing on his head and taking a painal from his S&M trained dog.
"Can't believe Grizzlies are shooting this good!" - they're shooting 39%
"Tony Allen is killing us with all these jumpers" - Allen has made 1 jumper and missed 3
etc, etc. Dude is a disaster. But you're worse, at least for now. Sleep well!
