Judging by the noise on the twitters, Hibbert better be writing that apology letter to Glaad pretty soon. Or maybe it's synthetic indignation as George Will once put it.

it was a pretty bad post game interview. No need for all that.

I'm sure he was just excited to push for a game 7 but damn. He went overboard IMO.

He knew he'ds stuffed up after the "no homo" comment, staring off to the side, rubbing the back of his head etc. It seems like the "motherfuckers" was almost a calculated decoy.

BTW - Awesome reaction from Paul George, taking over the question, patting Hibbert on the back. A lot of respect for that guy.

If Stern wanted to suspend, it's almost a dream come true reason... as much as the media would freak out, what better PC excuse than a percieved homophobic comment to at least bring some debate to the decision.

Fans will condemn Stern if he will suspend Hibbert. :)

He won't get suspended but will be given such a signficant fine, it'll throw him off his game on Monday, much to the design and delight by Stern. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets in foul trouble early on, too...also planned by Stern.
