true, Kobe's comment was said out of anger, entitlement (per par with him) and at a friggin ref of all people. Hibbert said a dumb joke that works better around friends, it certainly wasn't out of anger or trying to belittle any person or group imo.

He was all up in arms about this, but couldn't get why I questioned why on Earth Hibbert needed to apologize to Jason Collins.

It's a stupid thing to say, not particularly funny, but I like how people only stick up for their own cause. No one says anything about Barkley or other players calling people "midgets" in the post, but any sort of gay joke is completely unacceptable. Why aren't these people sticking up for all the causes?
