Spurs in 6
I'll give my prediction after the game, but I know everyone is gonna be calling for my head when I make my prediction.
Spurs in 6
Spurs in 3. First ever in history.
my servers are still crunching the numbers. had to order a new 24 server farm from Amazon. configuring some shit and will come out with the prediction later rather than sooner. Phython scripts will probably run overnight.
but it's not looking pretty. Heat can turn it on anytime they want. Not looking pretty at all :(
Heat in 6 :(
This will finally come back to haunt us.
spurs in 8
honestly things have been going a little too well for us and after watching tonights beat down i'm back to being worried :depressed
Heat in 6.
Spurs in 5. BTW:
So when Miami loses it's because Wade's knee is bad.
And when they win it's because it's all of a sudden good?
Bullshit. He's fine. Jumping through the roof out there.
I don't want to hear any excuses next round about his fucking knee.
Spurs in 6

ps you're the oreo
Heat in 7 but I hope I'm wrong
That long layoff is gonna b tough to shake off shooting wise in game 1 imo for Sa
agree with this. Pacers are one of the most overrated teams in recent times.
I mean a team that is composed of 2 good bigmen, and 1 near allstar and
- George Hill starting PG :lol
- Lance Stephenson, a damn scrub
- Tyler Hasbro :lol
- Ian Mahinmi :rollin
- DJ Augustin and Sam Young :lmao
overrated bunch of scrubs
still. The CHamps can turn it on anytime and have 4 HOF players. it's a pretty tough series to predict IMO. I'll leave it to the AI and the algorythms
I'm gonna say Heat in 6.
But it doesn't mean I'm quitting on the Spurs or think they have no shot. I will be here to eat crow if the Spurs prove me wrong for the 2nd straight series.
Stern gets his ultimate revenge on Popovich and the Spurs for Restgate, as the Heat are +25 FTA in each game of a 4 game sweep.
Duncan ends the series thinking that FIBA and its refs are pretty awesome.
I'll go with Spurs in 6. Sure, Miami still scares me tbh, but they haven't looked this vulnerable since the early parts of 2010. They've got a good first 5, but their bench is screwed up. When you got Sam Young as your 6th man, you're pretty screwed. To make things worse, Frank Vogel who's usually a good coach is......making questionable decisions thus far(sitting Hibbert in game1, and I heard that he sat BOTH George and Hibbert for a long time during tonight's 2ndQ, I think). If a team like that's pushing Miami to the brink, imagine how much damage this Spurs team can do, considering they got better players and are better coached.
Mia in 7. Heart of course says SA in a sweep.
Spurs in 5. Book it.
Spurs in 6. I think we out execute them.
Hard to call. The Heat looked like shit for most of the Pacers series but it looks like they had no trouble turning it on for Game 7. The Spurs seem like their defense have gotten better and better as the playoffs have gone on and I think the rest vs. rust will work in their favor overall. I've been saying the whole playoffs that the Spurs can't beat the Heat but something in me just won't count Tim Duncan out. Him stepping up in those overtime games shows me that he's extremely determined to get one more ring.
All that said, I'm going against what I've been saying and taking the Spurs in 7. The home/road thing has not really mattered that much to this Spurs team in the playoffs and it will stay that way. They steal one in Miami...lose one in SA...then take Game 7 in a thriller.
Heat D is swarming in the half court. Spurs have to beat them with ball movement and depth.. Tony needs the series of his career, Tim needs to score in the post not just with the jumper and Kahwi has to exhaust himself chasing Lebron all over the court.. Maybe Manu shows up with a little vintage game and doesn't just turn the ball over..
Spurs in 6..
Miami in 6 sadly. Miami has to be the favorite, though, ESPN will cast them as the underdog after this series. I don't think the Spurs present the same inside threats that the the Pacers did notwithstanding Timmy's awesome play this year. Spurs just dont pound it in enough to punish Lebron for guarding the 4.
I hate the 2-3-2 format since it is very rare for the home team in that middle stretch to win all 3 games. If the Spurs don't split in those first two games, I see them being on the wrong side of 3-2 heading back to Miami. Hope I'm wrong.
gary neal defending mike miller = miller barrage of open 3's ..................................
Spurs in 6
I'll say Spurs in 6.
Yeah, I have hope because of how hungry Tim and Tony look, but the Spurs have to make the Heat look like a one-man team. That means making everyone but LeBron a non-factor which has happened at times in the Pacers series. Plus the Spurs are much smarter than the Pacers. If the Heat role players start going off, Spurs are fucked.
Hate to say it....... Flop city in 6 .... Leflop James penis will be sucked hard by all media, specially espn
Cannot let role players like Chalmers, Allen, or even fckn Haslem get hot. Because Lebron is going to get his no matter what. Also no way we win unless we see vintage Manu.
Spurs in 6
Spurs in 5.
Heat looked very beatable in this series against Ind. If Ind had a solid PG or another guard that was a scoring threat Ind would have won the series. That being said Spurs in 6. Veterans + great coaching = win
Since I don't wanna pick the Heat, Spurs in 6.
I'd like to believe it, and I think the Spurs are good enough to do it.
BUT - I don't think that's the NBA storyline they looking for. It certainly wasn't Spurs v. Pacers and they took care of that. The Spurs HAVE a storyline - Timmy etc, but this will all be about the Spurs Dynasty passing to the Heat Dynasty. Lebron's "Time" that wasn't in 2007 etc. I guess I'm hoping that the NBA decides to build the suspense by giving us this one, in anticipation of the "Re-match" next year? But that's unlikely. Unfortunately, whether deliberately orchestrated by the league or by media influence or whatever it might be, the games (and by that I mean officiating) are far too influenced by what is written/talked about before each game and by what can be written or talked about after.
Tough tough series to call. I want to anti-jinx it by calling it Heat in 4.
My hopes is Spurs in 5. If it drags out too long it means it's tight and LeBron is too good to shut down in a bigger game. Miami could easily win a game 7 at home.
Spurs have a realistic chance of beating Miami, they have the bigs and passing attack to expose Miami's flaws..however, this series against Indiana doesn't really have much to do with the Spurs, tbh:lol..
The Heat struggle against physical teams, just like last year, when most people picked OKC to destroy them in the Finals, tbh..
The Spurs are a great defensive team, but they are not a physical team, obviously..
The Spurs will be victorious, it's their destiny.
Believe
Heat luckily avoided Spurs in '06 with Manu's foul on Dirk game 7.
Heat luckily avoided Spurs in '12 with OKC and refs teaming up against San Antonio.
Heat luck about to run out.
Spurs in 7.
What are the odds some dumb reporter will bring up the Spurs getting fined during Finals interviews?
I remember when everyone picked OKC to destroy the Heat last year and they mopped the floor with the Thunder. Have a similar feeling about this year, although I think it goes at least 6. We won't get destroyed, but I think Miami wins it in the end, especially with HCA.
spurs in 5
it does have a lot of similarities. Only exception is Spurs have championship and Finals experience on both player and coaching side. Spurs are the more experienced team this time.
OKC never knew what hit them and choked in the big stage. That won't happen to Spurs.
still, hard series to call....

heat in 6
Spurs in 7, GINOBILI buzzer beater sticking to it. I might not survive tho lmao.
It's "God's team" vs. "Satan's team" even though I'm an agnostic, lol. But I'll take my Spurs to beat those money-bought, flopping punks in Miami.
Spurs in 4.
4-2 Spurs in an incredibly close series... 2 OTs ..
Spurs in 6
Spurs in 6....Spurs throw enough looks at Lebron to at least throw him off his game every now and then. Tim and Tony are Tim and Tony...Manu plays at least decent. Kawhi steps out and really shows he's made for this league.
I don't think either team can win in less than 6 games.
Spurs in 7.
Duncan needs one for the ring finger.
F the refs
Terrified of Gary Neal and Cory Joseph playing in this series, tbh..
I already have images of Neal turning the ball over on consecutive possessions, subsequently leaving Ray Allen wide open for 3 on the other end of the floor..
Chris Broussard @Chris_Broussard1m
Heat over SA in 6! Book it!
heat in 5... could be 6
how long the series will last depends on if the spurs have a counter for heat's pressure d on their offensive sets and if the spurs could take care of business at home...
not a jinx post

Spurs have a fighting chance if they played like they did in game 3 vs the Grizzlies. Both the offense and defense clicked at the same time. The big 3 were scoring, Manu had 19 good points, and Tiago went 5-5 FG. But the problem is that have to play like that every game, not just once every 3-4 games. They also have to pray Lebron goes into 2011 mode and inexplicably start deferring to Wade.
I'll say Heat in 5 because I'm pretty sure Stern still has a vendetta against the Spurs for showing him up earlier this season. He's been biding his time so he can crush the Spurs when it will hurt the most. Heat will almost drown in the free throws they'll get.
Spurs in 6
Spurs in 5. Spurs take the first one and then all 3 at home. Refs get embarrassed by the film of LeBron flopping his way to a win in game 2 and allow the players to play in San Antonio.
Spurs in 6 (maybe)
I have been watching the way Miami defends the pick and roll. They always have a help man cheat off someone to stop the roll, leaving someone open almost all the time... Indiana, when they ran the pick and roll, usually kicked it out to the open man and that created wide open shots... They should have capitolized on this more.
Spurs will put on a clinic if Miami thinks they can cheat off of our shooters to stop Parker (or whoever it may be) on the roll. We will just kick it out to the open man, if they have someone try and cheat off someone else to close in on that shooter, our ball movement will just break them down.
Spurs in 5 or 6. And thats only due to rust after such a long layoff. I actually wouldnt be suprised if we sweep. It's almost looking like 2007 again with Lebron carrying all the load and his team mates failing to contribute meaningfully.
Well, we made it this far, might as well go out with a bang: Spurs in cinco...
Since I started following the league, I can't remember a more difficult Finals to predict. Sure, there's been upsets ('04 Pistons, '06 Heat, '11 Mavericks), but that's different. There wasn't equally compelling reasons to pick both teams in those instances; this is the exact opposite.
I'll go Spurs in six (with wins in games 2, 3, 5 and 6). The same desperation level that the '11 Mavs had, the Spurs will have, even if this core has a bunch of championships and even if this team has a better chance of getting back than that team had. It's a level of desperation the Heat simply can't match. Plus, they're perfectly suited from a strategic standpoint to beat this team.
Heat in 5.
The longer it gets the harder we win it. Take no prisoners. Spurs in 5.
spurs in 5
Hoping the Spurs leave Miami up 2-0, tbh. :lol
I'm not sure how many games it will take but I know we'll get to 4. Oh yeah, FUCK THE HEAT.
Spurs in 5.
This Heat team has lost four games this postseason to teams sporting backcourts of Robinson / Bellineli and Hill / Stephenson. The only teams these guys start for out West are Phoenix and the injured Lakers.

Spurs in 5. MattyVP.
Heat in 6
Spurs in 6 or 7. I see a lot of scared Spurs fans out there, some even saying were going to lose. Are you kidding me?!!! Sure Miami has a pretty good team, but we have an even better team. Tim and Tony want this championship too much and arent about to let Queen James and D Wade take it from them. Our bench will be a big key in this series, and I know our guys will pull it out. Go Spurs Go!!!
Spurs in 4
Miami matches up better against the Spurs. Can the Spurs rebound and not turn the ball over? My guess is no; and they can't stop Lebron in 7. To win this series, Spurs have to win twice in Miami cause I don't think they win 3 in a row in SA.
Upset potential if Spurs are reenergized instead of rusty.
The Miami Heat are one of the greatest teams ever assembled. They rank with the Jordan bulls as this is their 3rd year in a row in the finals and will probably be back next year.
With all that said, the world will soon realize and come to appreciate how Great The Spurs are. Spurs in 6 in spectacular fashion, with Tim, Tony and Manu simply being unstoppable.
You know what's remarkable? It seems that most people here are either predicting a cruising, lopsided victory for the Spurs or a cruising, lopsided victory for the Heat. Two pretty evenly matched teams, yet a lot of people, rather than predicting a 6-game or 7-game series, are predicting a sweep or a victory in 5.
Keys to win: 1. Make it a half court game.
2. Parker to Duncan and Manu to Thiago ... all night long. Nobody in the post can stop the Spurs big.
3. Got to abuse their bigs. Just don't let TheBron in transition.
4. Rebound and make the 3s when they double team the bigs.
Spurs in 4
Spurs in 5-6. Miami is mentally and mostly physically exhausted. Miami doesn't have anyone that can guard Tony Parker. Spurs collectively can limit LeBronda. Proof? See Steph Curry and Zach Randolph. Two entirely different players in their respective dynamics. Spurs Dissected BOTH. Pop can - given 11 days concoct something. This will be Gregg Popovich's FINEST hour.
:lobt::lobt::lobt::lobt::lobt2:
:toast LeBronda.
Heat in 5
:tu Spurs in 6; could be 5.
Heat in 5
Spurs have come this far and won't let #5 slip away. The Big Three want this ring bad enough and will carry the team to basketball immortality. Spurs in 6.
