Predict Your Finals MVP...
Tracy McGrady
What are the chances that Robert Horry comes out of retirement?
Tony or Lebron. No one else has a shot.
Timmy
Timmay. He will destroy that frontline like how hibbert did, but better.
I voted Bosh just for shits and giggles.
Anyone who is for the Spurs winning and doesn't vote for TP is an idiot... TD is awesome but we are here directly because of TP this year...
Also...
:rollin @ Bosh getting more votes than LeBron...
CoMVPs: Teemy and Tony
LeBron James
Tony Parker
Tim Duncan
I voted TD cause I want him to win it.
Maybe Manu's going to make a run at Finals MVP.
If Spurs win it will be Timmy because the Heat frontline is weak. If Heat win it will be Lebron.
Tim Duncan.
He will not be the highest scorer but his defense, blocks, & screens so TP will have easy access to the basket and his presence on the court with his team will alter the result of this game.
You know what I would really like Manu to win FMVP too :)
just to be different and edgy
leonard
I picked TP9. :hat
I voted Duncan because he is still the most valuable player of the team. Take him out, I don't think they can win vs Miami.
If they win the title I hope the voters won't just vote because he is the highest scorer of the team but because of his importance, leadership, and impact on the team.
Parker. He's been our best player since 2007.
TP will lead us to the promise land.
I'd like to see Manu win MVP for several reasons:
1. It would mean that the Spurs won the series
2. It would provide perfect symmetry that each of our 'big three' won one MVP in the Championships they have won.
3. His contributions over the years to this team would be perfectly realized.
However, I fear that the MVP will LBJ
I was torn between Timmy and Tony, but went with Tony as I think he'll have a great series, and deserves it after all the work he's done to improve his game.
Manu fuck it
If it's not Lebron, it will be a significant upset.
I'm rooting for that.
Kawhi
Parker will get his 2nd Finals MVP. And yes, Spurs will be the world champs.
MANU
TP9. Nice thread OP.
I wish it would be Manu... but I think TD will win it. Rebounding, defense, and blocks will be the main reason. Spurs in 6. Believe.
LOL Manu getting more votes than Leflop ....................... Timmy will be the MVP.
Spurs website, TBH.
I voted Tony. If he isn't the MVP, we are likely not winning.
Tim won't get it on "rebounds blocks defense" as others are saying. Voters don't vote for that. It's either Tony, or the spurs lost.
I wanted to vote Tim, for legacy's sake, but honestly, I don't care about that (neither does he). His legacy isn't going to be swayed by 1 more FMVP. Tony, on the other hand, HAS been our MVP and deserves the recognition.
Lebron on a losing effort.
Unofficially, it will be Tim for his calming, focused presence on the court for the Spurs.
Officially, it will LeBron, because the media demands it. Even if the Spurs win. (I just got sick think of this)
Personally, I picked Tony because he will have to play like an MVP for the Spurs to win and offset LJ.
It's crazy that this series features 4 past finals mvps.
LeBron James. He Is beasting right now Nobody can stop him
Timmy
Pulling for #20.
Spurs in 5, Parker avgs 25 and 8 as finals mvp
I think Timmy at least has to be at a co-MVP level for the Spurs to win.
James "Captain Late" Silas
Lebron James
If Heat in 6 - Lebron
If Spurs in 7 - Parker
you have to go with Parker you cannot expect Duncan to outplay Parker and win the series at the same time. It's just not logical.
feel free to state why you disagree :rolleyes
it's just not logical to expect Duncan to outplay Parker in the Finals and at the same time win the series. That would mean, not only Parker maintains is level, but Duncan raises his level even above Parker's, that is a few notches up. It is silly to think 37 year old Duncan can do this. But feel free to disagree and this time try it without posting silly images
I think Mickell Gladness breaks out with a huge series
It's going to be Tony or Lebron. There are no other options.
Tonys biggest games in his career might be coming up hopefully
Don't really care as long as we win but I'm pulling for Timmy.
Going with Duncan. It would be awesome if he won Finals MVPs 14 years apart (1999 and 2013).
Spurs win the championship!
But LeBron wins the Finals MVP!
I have no idea why so many people are claiming Lebron and Parker are the only options, tbh:lol..
Duncan is the Spurs biggest strength in this series, while the Heat have several options to throw at Parker, along with their elite defense against pick&roll ball-handlers..
If the Spurs win, the result could very well mimic the 2007 result in the Finals, where Duncan was clearly the best player on the team but Parker had the mismatch and subsequent Finals MVP..
I picked Duncan.
I would love for Timmy to get another Finals MVP but the machine runs most efficiently when Parker is at his best.
I may sound too new here, but is it possible to have a Finals MVP come from the losing team?
