Re: The Official English Premiere League Thread, 2013-14
Good lineup, but I'd rather have Sagna on than Jenks.
-
Re: The Official English Premiere League Thread, 2013-14
Giroud! Nice build-up by Ramsey, Rosicky, and Theo as well.
-
Re: The Official English Premiere League Thread, 2013-14
GIROUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

Re: The Official English Premiere League Thread, 2013-14
This might be one of the games where missed goalscoring opportunities come back to haunt Arsenal - especially if they continue being rather shaky defensively.
-
Re: The Official English Premiere League Thread, 2013-14
Rosicky's touch has been a bit off, and Flamini won't create like Wilshere could.
Anybody see what happened to Jack? Couldn't tell what happened to him

Re: The Official English Premiere League Thread, 2013-14
"unwell"

Tough loss, but there is no doubt in my mind Spurs will finish ahead of Arsenal and in top 4 :-)

You think they're significantly better than the last few years? Sure looks that way to me, tbh

Re: The Official English Premiere League Thread, 2013-14
Hard to tell. They had a good start to the 2011 season but to start 2012 had something like the second fewest points. Last year they started out bad and finished well. I think at one point they had the second most points at the turn of the new year.
I am trying to stay grounded, but it's a but tough when they beat a team like United.

They look more cohesive this year, especially in the back. Mignolet is proving to be worth every penny.
I agree with the poster upstream who took Utd to task for lacking an attacking midfielder that could create. Might have made a difference if shrek was on the field, tucked in behind RVP (who looked frustrated all day)... Doesn't matter, i guess. 'Pool deserved the win

By the end of the season spuds could possibly be very good.
