The players, the ones who actually play the games haven't thrown Manu under the bus, I don't see what gives us fans the right to do so, considering we "only" root for the team. Yeah, he didn't help much in the finals, but he did help us win 3 more after the first one.

he didn't do anything all playoffs. it's one thing for someone to get old and lose their skill level. robinson got old, but when you're old and fuking up and keep fuking up and doing it to the point where it looks as if you're paid off to lose, everyone is well within their right to criticize. i know a ton of laker fans(REAL LAKER FANS. i'm talking about since the 70s) that were on some "fuk kobe" after the 2004 finals. if you think the way ginobli played all playoffs doesn't warrant criticism, then what does? he was worst than john starks in 94. at least starks was just missing shots in game 7. he wasn't turning the ball over too. that's what killed me. if you're cold then fine.. it happens, but stop doing the same damn move of driving to the baseline, getting trapped, jumping and turning the ball over every other play. cut it out..

I agree with you on that, I never said NOT TO criticize Manu. He deserves the criticism. And I'm fine with that. What doesn't sit well with me is how people throw him under the bus. Criticizing and throwing someone under the bus are two different things. Don't get me wrong, I'm no member of the CoM. I'm a fan of the Spurs, first and foremost (okay, maybe I WAS a TD fanboy early on). What doesn't sit well with me is how people act like Manu doesn't give a f**k about what's going on. We all know how competitive he is. Sure, it gets under my skin how he keeps on doing things even when the opposing team's already on to him and the results end up in a repeated disaster, but that's always been part of his game. You can't take the good without the bad. As I said a couple of months back, I'd rather have 5 finals appearances, 4 titles, a couple runs that fell short and contending seasons than nothing at all.

Yeah, but most of these idiots blame the guy and no one else except maybe Pop for being the only reason the Spurs lost. Not only that, they want him off the team, retire or whatever.
They flat don't appreciate what he has done.

Haha, I love that commercial! There was no better way to end it. "Gary, what you doing in there?" :shrug: SURROUNDED BY TEENAGE GIRLS, lol, priceless. The ad agency should either be fired or given a raise, depending on if it was purposeful or not.

the Gary Neal/Splitter commercial has to be seen to be believed. Words don't do it justice. Tiago's accent and acting is so bad, but that shot of Gary neal grinning is so disturbing that I laugh just thinking about it.

No, HEB is catering to ethnicity. Manu in those commericals today is the equivalent of Barry doing them a few years ago. THE BIG FOUR is BRUCE-TIM-TONY-MANU. The CURRENT Big Three: TIM-TONY-LEONARD. THERE IS NO BIG FOUR. Manu is NOT big anything, except turnovers.
