Good move for the Nets. You get rid of crap in Bogans, Humphries, Wallace, and you get back 3 veterans who still have enough in the tank to be a contender in the East...
And besides....Pierce and Garnett have short contracts as well...
Rondo got injured in January didn't he? He should be back for the start of the season. Either way they will be bad. I'd expect them to maybe move him. He's already 27 (I think) you are going to contend in next 3 seasons unless you get some awesome picks and great free agents.
Brooklyn did a great job. Nets fans couldn't have hoped for anything more. Awesome starting 5, how they mesh together we will wait and see. JKidd has a great mind for basketball and im sure he'll do big things with that team.
You all have to admit if we nabbed Garnett and Pierce you'd all be over the moon. Also though, it seems Brooklyn have gone all in, win now mode. Kinda weird for a team with no bench who just got together. But they've given the team a great shot to succeed.
People are sleeping on Chicago. I don't think Miami makes the Finals next year. 4 straight trips ? No way. Too much going against them.
That awkward moment when the Coach and 6th man were teammates a year ago
I read somewhere that's a $100m roster, and the Nyets would be paying circa $80m in luxury tax... crazy...
Green just became every fantasy player's "sleeper" pick.
He'll put up 20/7 but shoot 41%. :lmao
Owner is a billionaire^..play money.
I like the move! Fk MIAMI!!!
Now hope Chicago can land Aldridge & move Deng for somebody.
can't spell Brooklyn Nets without TOSB
Good trade for both teams. For the Celtics, the latter two picks could be lottery picks. For the Nets, they had already dug the hole so deep, that it was worth it to deep it even deeper, because at least now they have an outside shot at a championship. I still can't imagine them winning it, but before this they had absolutely no shot.
The starting lineup looks good on paper and it is, but it's also severely lacking in athleticism/speed/quickness, while the bench is terrible and they don't have the money to upgrade it, either. Even if Terry bounces back, Teletovic and minimum salary scrubs are likely to fill out the remainder of the rotation (guys like Turiaf, Duhon, Wilkins, etc.).
If Mikhail Prokhorov woke up tomorrow with Peter Holt type money he'd kill himself.
people have to realize we aren't in the 2000s anymore. these players are at the end of their careers. itll be LA 2.0.
Still a nice 5 Williams,Johnson,pierce,garnet and lopez
Their bench is left with CJ Watson, Andray Blatche, Marshon Brooks, Plumlee now and some of the foreign guys they have.. :lol

I think they are a better group than last year's LAL. Heat are probably scared. They have been winning titles by having more talented players. Birdman ain't going to rescue their season again.
Reggie Evans: 11rpg in 24 minutes last year. Any chance he gets waived seeing as though Boston will now suck? He's a bit of a spaz offensively but its not like he takes more then 5 shots per game and its not like we need him to score. He's a bit short but we could use his rebounding, strength and tenacity. Lets not forget we needed just 1 fucking rebound more and we'd be champions but whatever. Might be nice to have a strong interior presence unlike pansy Splitter and the Tweeners Bonner and Blair.
