You sir are an idiot to classify ginobilli as you do. How long have u been a fan? 6 months?

Re: Rockets Waive Carlos Delfino
Isn't Delfino hurt right now?
Not sure what good a bench shooter is if we have nobody to get him open shots. He'd be good as a 3rd string sg/sf for us but some team will be able to give him solid backup minutes that he deserves.

He'd be an upgrade over Neal. He'd take over Neal's position as a back-up SG/SF. And pray that Nando and Cory continue to develop into solid backup PG's.

No we need to sign someone that can create for the bench now that Manu can't. Manu can be the better version of Neal for the team now. We need to add an upgrade that is better than that(like Tyreke). Adding Delfino doesn't do much for the Spurs. The only reason to get him is for the third string.

Re: Rockets Waive Carlos Delfino
I'd love him. A fellow countryman for Ginobili and he is yet another international intelligence to add to the Spurs roster.
-
Re: Rockets Waive Carlos Delfino
I'm not going to go after a Free Agent who just had a fractured foot and is 30.. Sorry, sure he fits the old and busted Spurs motif but lets not go that route.

So Korver?

Re: Rockets Waive Carlos Delfino
I'd like them to get everything the Rockets are throwing away. Delfino, Brooks, and Robinson would be solid additions to our team

Better shooter but still doesn't create his own shot.. he's more of a spot up shooter and we have that in spades. We need someone to create.

Then who?

Re: Rockets Waive Carlos Delfino
I don't think he's a Plan A, but he's a good Plan B. To quote Mick Jagger: You can't always get what you want.... you get what you need.
-
Re: Rockets Waive Carlos Delfino
Jarret Jack is gonna be 30 by the time next season starts... suddenly age isnt a concern there

Stop living in la la land. There are no better options. So deal with it. This isn't a utopia for God's sake. So many on this forum can't understand this!!!

I'm not sure, The qualifying offer is 5M? I'm sure someone will offer the same amount or go over so depends on what the Spurs are willing to do. Focus should be on a SG/SF who can create there own shot and pass and a PF who can spell Tim without giving up leads. We need to get athletic..

for starters he's two years younger than both. Korver doesn't defend and dunleavy is dumbleavy.

So we just get whoevers available then? That doesn't solve problems. There is a reason why they cut him and he's not useful and he's been dealt from other teams.. He's a 1 trick pony and we have plenty of those cats.

I'd rather go for the younger and cheaper Rocket castoffs: James Anderson, Patrick Beverly, or Greg Smith to go with Robinson.
-
Re: Rockets Waive Carlos Delfino
James Anderson again? No, just no.
Delfino and Robinson yes

If you haven't figured out why they cut him...you haven't been listening.
