There is nothing wrong with being a Tim Duncan fan. He is a 4 time NBA champion, 3 time NBA finals MVP, GOAT Power forward, and top 10 all-time great.

Manu cost Tim Duncan his 5th championship and possibly his 4th NBA finals MVP which would have probably put Tim Duncan as a top 5 all-time great. You think I'm not gonna be pissed at Manu and Pop? I know that Tim Duncan probably doesn't care about individual accomplishments but seeing his face after Game 7 was devastating. He has worked his butt off these past two years getting in shape for one more ring only for that SOB on a wheelchair of Manu to fuc* it all up with his pathetic performance in the NBA finals.

Of course I'm gonna hate Manu and criticize him. He deserves it. I don't give a fuc* about his three championships because Tim Duncan was the main reason why those championships even happened. Without Tim Duncan, the Spurs would have ZERO championships.

The issue I have with the way Manu played is that he hurt the team. It's one thing to not be that great but to consistently hurt the team in a big game and not make up for it. That's why I was dumbfounded when he missed the free throw at the end of game 6. That's something he hits in his sleep when we were winning championships. Especially with how bad he played I thought he would use that moment to make up for it.

Very well said. I'll take the same team, with a few adjustments in personnel (though minor as some people may view it), that got us to within 5 seconds of a 5th chanmpionship vs. the uncertainty of mild house cleaning and the potential culture damage it could bring, on top of just wins or losses. At some point it will happen (2015?) but no need right now.

I guess just because a player wears the Spurs jersey he will suddenly improve since you think every player will improve.

Teams like Miami(James, Bosh). the lakers(Gasol,Bryant, Shaq) Boston(KG), Detroit(R. Wallace), Houston(Drexler) have won titles with reloading on the fly through free agency and or trades. It works and is more reliable than depending on lottery luck to land an all time great center Duncan and you can also add Robinson as lottery luck. 2 titles in 6 years with Robinson, Duncan- that is not such a great job by the front office.

Duncan was not even supposed to be in that situation trying to hit a clutch shot in a Game 7 when the championship was at grasp in Game 6. Apparently Tim Duncan blames himself for the missed layup. And it was NOT manu who lost it in game 6 when we were up 5. It was more of the stars aligning for the Heat that they won it. And stop looking at stats alone. The 8 turnovers most of them was actually miscommunication(2 people's fault), uncalled fouls, and heatrefs. Didnt even result in much points for the heat. and still we were up 5.

2. Manu, didn't play game 6 and 7 well as he did in game 5. Part of the blame goes to him, part goes to Pop and a huge chunk to the Miami's defense over him (and Tony).
3. I am still sad that Tim didn't win his 5th. However, people who live in the past are losers. Tim, isn't a loser and so is Manu and Tony. They will have another great season, and hopefully they will win the LOB.

Would Manu ever blame himself? Fuc* no. Did Manu blame himself after Game 6? Fuc* no. He should be asking forgiveness from the fans but especially from Tim Duncan. Not only did he fail to take responsibility but that greedy bastard took a $14M contract killing any Spurs hopes of signing an impact FA. Manu should be retired by now or taking the veteran's minimum.

Competitors dun walk away. and Spurs wun give him that contract if they wanted to sign an impact FA. Its all in the plan, and we will get to see the same Spurs for 2 more years before a huge revamp occur. And Manu knows his own mistakes. He actually corrected himself from game to game if you watch carefully. The 8 turnovers, as I said, was just a stat, and he has already apologised for that, even though its not really his fault.
