THE GREAT MILES PLUMLEE.
Yes sir.
The division leading Phoenix Suns
Xylus sighting :wow
:cry the spurs drafted dragic
:cry scola
:cry barbosa
:cry all 3 played for the suns, none for the spurs
I picked the boy Plumlee with my last pick in a roto draft, paying off early, tbh:lol..
building up high hopes, only to be disappointed when sarver decides to be cheap ass and tank later
Slovenian Jesus doing work
This has to be one of the fastest backcourts in the league.
They really play well together. Not just individuals accumulating stats, but actual teammates playing on-ball/off-ball with chemistry.
That said, fuckers better not win too many games. I've pre-ordered my 2014-15 "Randle" Suns jersey!!!
Sup JMark!
I watched this entire game and I was extremely surprised and elated that Dragic and Bledsoe seemed to enjoy playing together. Even better, they play well with each other. This game was fucking awesome. I'm drinking orange and purple koolaid all year.
Any truth to the rumor that the Suns may deal Dragic next Xylus?
What sup?! My faith in McDonough! Miles and a 1st for TOSB Scola? Bledsoe for Dudley and a 2nd in a weak draft?
Almost makes me trust that whole Len over Noel/McLemore draft night gaffe. Almost...
McDonough is in wait-and-see mode. In a radio interview earlier this afternoon, McD admitted that the thing he was looking forward to watching most tonight was the interplay between Goran and Bledsoe. I imagine that intrigues him a great deal because it will ultimately inform his decision to trade or keep Dragic.
If this game is any indication of what's to come, Dragic is going nowhere. He's on a great contract, high character, talented, young, and he's sort of the face of the franchise. Despite Gortat's contributions, I don't feel like Phoenix fans ever really liked him a whole lot. Plus, he was sort of pointless to keep on a rebuilding team. Historically, this organization doesn't generally keep players they don't love. Phoenix fans love Goran Dragic.
I'd put money on Dragic staying for several more years.
I'd be there with ya had he drafted Noel or traded down/out and landed Carter Williams like was rumored. Len is intriguing, but I'm not sold. Saw plenty of him at Mayland. To me his ceiling is Darko .
Plumlee was a coup, though.
Ceiling is Darko? Ouch.
I've not seen anything from Len to suggest he's going to be a star, but I wasn't really expecting to get much out of last summer's draft. There will be one or two all-stars that come out of that draft class, and it's anyone's guess who they will be. MCW certainly had quite a game tonight, though...
I'm not sold on Noel. The Suns red-flagged his physical for a reason.
Darko per-36 was 12-8 and 3 blocks. But yeah, that's my analysis. He's not hugely skilled, but is spry and athletic. He's a solid rebounder, but not great, and while a talent, is inconsistent and a bit complacent.
At Maryland he was just as likely to give you 8-4 as 15-7, and just as likely to fade as he was to impose his will.
I don't like bigs that can't figure out how to maximize their advantages consistently.
Noel, game in/game out was 8-12 points, 9-12 rebounds, 3-5 blocks, and before his injury, was closer to 10-13 PPG, 11-12 RPG, 4+ BPG, 2 SPG.
My ideal was draft Noel, rehab whole year, suck, draft Randle, and rebuild around two if the most physically gifted, instinctive bigs I've seen. Like pairing Amare and Zo together best case.
This whole conversation is pointless, because we have THE GREAT MILES PLUMLEE.
By the way, I'm totally down for drafting Randle.
I have a contact who is a scout (not saying for whom). He is promoting Randle #1 over Wiggins.
Love Randle. Amare with a rebounding motor. 25-12-2 is within reason for him.
If not Randle, I'll take Wiggins (KU), Gordon (AZ), Embiid (KU), Young (UK), Parker (Duke) in that order.
My ideal is Randle in 1-3 range and Suns getting Both the Minnesota and Wasington 12-16 range and pairing them and trading into top-9 to get either Young or Gordon should they slip. Preferably Young. Love his scoring.
The Suns need talent at the 3 and 4, which this upcoming draft shall provide.
Sup Xylus !
THE GREAT MILES PLUMLEE
Throw it down with authority, big man! 40" vertical, no big deal.
Plumlee = Great White Hope
I'm genuinely excited for the future. Sarver can always screw it up, but I like what I see and where the plan is going.
These last few years have been absolutely demoralizing, but the excitement is back and we aren't even a playoff team. The fans are buying in, too. The organization has sold 15% more season tickets than they did last year, at a clip they haven't seen since 2008-2009.
Sarver wasnt in town for the "Baby Backs" youth movement of the Diamondbacks. That team was horrible, but people genuinely liked them. If you rebuild right, fans notice. Even casual fans know when they are being insulted.
Don't screw up the drafts.
They hit on their lotto picks, they'll be back soon.
Well any Suns fan who says they were excited to watch Miles Plumlee before last night's game is lying. To everyone outside of the front office, Plumlee was a trade throw-in. Then all of a sudden he was named a starter. Then all of a sudden he puts up 18 pts, 15 boards, 3 blks in his first start. By the end of the season, he'll have committed first degree murder against Dwight Howard.
I'm in record here or another board saying I loved the Plumlee acquisition for the "physical" and "athletic" reasons you saw last night. The production is surprising, but the play that led to it is exactly as I expected.
Chad Ford's first mock has Phoenix landing PF Julius Randle, SG/SF James Young, SG Gary Harris, PG Semaj Christon.
Um, yes, please!!! Only way their haul improves is if they can land both Randle and Young, then trade up and secure a slipping player like a Joel Embiid or Aaron Gordon.
The Suns now stand alone atop the Pacific division with the kings
Plumlee, bitches!
:lol Jazz.... How do you lose on a game-winning three by Bledsoe?

THE GREAT MILES PLUMLEE at it again
It's bizarro NBA with Phoenix and Philly leading the way!
I'm excited to see a change of lead in the league. The Celts, Heat and Lakers were getting old. Suns are one team I hope take that step. I've always liked bledsoe, glad he's somewhere he can get appreciated. 76ers... are another team id like to step up. They'll be exciting to watch. I was rooting for the cavs to take that step but theyre real inconsistent.
Phoenix is doing this tanking thing all wrong.
We love you Xylus
You know we do
But I had to bump this thread
Please change the thread title to "Goran Tragic"
Thank you
