Unless his back is really that bad, losing Brown is going to come back to haunt the Spurs. Brent Barry left a lot to be desired in the playoffs.

I agree. You lose Devin for a couple million over a couple years and it'll be a pretty horrible move by the Spurs. They've invested a lot of time, energy and playing time in Devin. I think this is the season that we finally see what he's got.Quote:

Devin Brown will be a good bench player, but the way you guys are making it sound, its like giving away Stephen Jackson all over again wich I disagree with.
Losing Devin Brown would open the door for a Sprewell or Finley. Not that I would like to see that, but it could be what the Spurs have in mind.
Agreed, thats the way it looks.
I dont like losing Devin Brown, but over 1.8 for a guy with habitual back problems???
No thanks.
NEITHER!!Devin's back is obviously a problem or Brown would have sighned with spurs already or someone else. Big Dog is wanting more $$ than the spurs will give him. I say sign Evans from the kings and try to hold onto Rasho..The spurs are going to be plenty deep at all positions!!
I would keep Devin over Big Dog since Big Doggie wants to go.
I thought Big Dog said that he would like to stay?Quote:
