Murray is a huge piece of the puzzle for the Aggies and Texas had made a late run before he decided to end his recruitment completely on Thursday. Texas head coach Charlie Strong was expected to use his in-home visit on Friday but that is not happening now. (247)

Game over for Murray, I think so. Made it interesting nevertheless.
:lol Gonna be hilarious when he fucks Aggy over and goes to the MLB, tbh.

Completely agree if Heard is not ready our problem then has got to be Watson, Jerrod has all the potential and capabilities that will develop if trained properly.

Wrong. For Sumlin, this was not about holding on to a five star prospect. This was about holding on to the state when it comes to recruiting. Kyler may never play a down in college but nonetheless this will be a victory for Sumlin because he holds on to whatever momentum he has left.
Same goes with Texas of he had gone there. Even if he had never played at Texas, Kyler would've brought top prospects with him and unstoppable momentum in recruiting for Strong over Sumlin.

You do realize Sumlin had to fight to hold onto a recruit who already had family ties to the school?

OrangeBloods saying CB Holton Hill will announce between 1 and 2 p.m. on Friday.

They were doing that hashtag long ago; it's not a shot at us. It does say something about how close this thing was that they felt the need to tweet about it, though. It feels like a new commit and it really shouldn't.

Am I mistaken or is there STILL no time for Boyd's announcement?

Re: 2015 Texas Longhorns Recruiting Thread
Yeah...more than anything else this was about playing keep away. Sumlin had already lost Jefferson and will likely lose Mack. Losing a third five star prospect would have been pretty devastating.
That said, props again to Strong for trying to hit the home run(no pun intended) again like he did with Jefferson. He's still going to wind up with a solid class in his first recruiting cycle. Despite the outcome with Murray, I'm not ready to hit the panic button on the QB position yet. Texas moving to the spread was for both Murray and Heard...and with that move I honestly think Heard had a really good shot at winning the job anyway.
Time to look at JUCO/transfer candidates for depth.

Sounds like he really liked ATM.
So he needs to be there.

Re: 2015 Texas Longhorns Recruiting Thread
@BleacherReport: A 6’3”, 200-pound high school QB has 108 TDs, a state title, 4.0 GPA and 0 scholarship offers http://t.co/uK4fDWVzXn http://t.co/p7rNJtzSON
So Texas could easily have a QB with record passing in New Mexico, someone who was named New Mexico Mr. Football over Zach Gentry and even notched a victory over the former UT commit. Wow!!

Read about this, not sure if he is a P5 QB but it's pretty amazing that New Mexico or New Mexico State haven't offered him since they struggle so much to get quality players to go there.

Yeah, actually a plus that KM went #SECCoattails. Gonna be funny as hell if he goes MLB out of high school.
Gives Locksley a better shot at competing to start next year if Strong can steal him from FSU.

Re: 2015 Texas Longhorns Recruiting Thread
Per 24/7, CB Kris Boyd and CB Holton Hill are expected to announce their decisions from the university of their choice today.
It's already been confirmed that Hill did not go to school today.
