Small update on CB Deandre Baker from OrangeBloods...he's a really quiet guy and rarely does interviews or returns reporters' calls. However, he did return a call to OrangeBloods today concerning having someone cover his announcement ceremony in the morning. He proceeded to get them in touch with Miami Northwestern's journalism teacher and that guy will be providing the live updates. May be nothing, but also may be a small clue that he's committing to Texas.

24/7 just published a report saying Texas is "making headway" with RB Soso Jamabo, WR Ryan Newsome and S PJ Locke.
It's not close to a done deal or anything of the sort, but they had them as "longshots" this morning. Not the case now.
More on RB Soso Jamabo...apparently there is a "trainer" in the picture that has been pushing UCLA very hard. I hadn't posted about him previously because nobody was confirming the rumor, but 24/7 just said he's no longer allowed on campus by Plano West administration.
OrangeBloods reporting Texas could be flipping a certain DB prospect "at any minute."
FWIW, LB Malik Jefferson and others told S PJ Locke to get in touch with them earlier today.
Update on WR DaMarkus Lodge...
-OrangeBloods mentioned earlier that Lodge is putting more thought into Texas today because he believes Coach McGuire will ultimately move to Austin.
-Inside Texas saying Lodge is still undecided at this point and it's not quite a done deal for Ole Miss. The source is from Cedar Hill, so you can probably figure out who it is.
