But no, we had to draft George Hill.
At least we got Kawhi... but Jordan is a freakishly great defender/rebounder tbh.

Yes, you could have drafted anyone
I am sure quite a few teams could have drafted him! TBH. Hindsight 20/20 there.
deandre doesn't fit our system at all
TBH it woud have been great TBH but we didn't TBH
Deandre jordan took 6 years to develop into an NBA player. The dude literally just became a good defender and rebounder like 3 months ago.
hes still not a good defender tbh..
one of the worst rim protectors in the league for a so called defensive player
his rebounding is also overrated since he steals a lot of his teammates rebounds
suprised no one took advantage of his poor free throw shooting yet either or tried to pump fake him and get him out of the game
Spurs always run layup fests vs the Clippers since they actually do both of those
drafting hill is what got spurs leonard, ill keep it.
He had a great series where he wasn't defended by anybody taller than 6'9 tbh.
The Spurs drafted a better center the year before.
:cry what about Parsons? :cry
Jackass tried Hack-a-DJ all series long and DJ generally made the free throws....
In fact, even though DJ is a poor free throw shooter percentage-wise, statistics show that Hack-a-DJ ends up backfiring on the teams that use it:

dat Daryl Morey logic doesn't work out to well tbh..
he tried the same thing with Dwight Coward and it was all going well in game 6 with him hitting like 7/8 free throws until the final few minutes where he bricked everything
I only remember him hacking one game and he barely constituted as a hack
he fouled him maybe twice then gave up
even a dumbass like Reggie Miller was wondering today if they should have hacked DeAndre with about 6 minutes to go and when they didnt Jordan ended up getting monkey lobs instead
:lol resorting to salivating over Jordan
He's a good center, but his playoff numbers are over-inflated thus far. Warriors had no one with size minus Bogut.
The only certainty in draft is uncertainty...Some guys were great prospects based on college production but failed in the NBA, on the other hand, underrated boys made an impact in the league.
2008 #2 Michael Beasley #26 George Hill #45 Dragic
We could have drafted Marc Gasol but we drafted Marcus Williams instead.
Guess we would start Dick Jefferson at SF right now.
Deandre is not a smart basketball player and has been a little bit one dimensional. His offensive game is the ally-oop dunk.
Pop would have killed him or traded him well before now. He was a 19 year old kid when he was drafted who didn't know how to play the game - low BBIQ. Don't get me wrong, he is a good player, but you don't know how Jordan would have fared if he had to be accountable from day one of his NBA career. I'm thinking SAS would have moved him at some point due to his limitations.
OP :cry
Guess what? There were 57 picks before Manu in 1999. Think there's some regret there, too? Give me a break!
