with all the double- and troll accounts, there probably are not even 10 posters on this board.

Re: if all the posters who gave up on the Spurs during the Mavs series were banned...
Dallas was weak. Spurs played about 6 good quarters the entire series and won.

I'd still be here. Fuck that defeatist attitude, tbh.

Re: if all the posters who gave up on the Spurs during the Mavs series were banned...
I would be here but as I have said before (endlessly, seemingly), I get as upset with posters abusing certain players as I do with people giving up on the team at the first sign of difficulty.
This place really does get more and more difficult to stay with. At least ptr folks aren't abusive towards the players and team. Negative occasionally yes, but not abusive.

I gave up on them. I still watched the game and cheered them on, though. It is the same thing with the Cowboys, except they always lose these days....

I always thought they would win this series. Was frustrated after game 2 because I knew it would be a long series but still believed the spurs would win.

I got the feeling Spurs would drop game 7 against Dallas. They looked confused, slow and lethargic almost the whole series. It certainly appeared they were done. Good thing is they have another gear they can kick into. Only championship teams have that other gear. Spurs pulled a fast one on us. One day the dynasty will end , just not yet.

Re: if all the posters who gave up on the Spurs during the Mavs series were banned...
Isn't it Spurstalk tradition to be overly pessimistic and superstitious? If not, then I have had the wrong impression of SpursTalk.
:lol
I believed the Spurs could beat the Mavs, but when it comes to SpursTalk, I usually vote against what everyone else is voting for(When asked in poll/thread form).

Never got that sense from the majority of the board for the Mavs series. There were numerous threads asking about the lack of a meltdown.

Or if people were temp banned when their team was given the boot, that would free up probably 300 user names just from Mouse alone.
