Re: Would you say the Blazers are a better younger Mavericks?
The only similarities between these teams are Dirk and Aldridge playing the same style of offense + being great offensive teams with below average defense..that's pretty much it, tbh:lol..
Re: Would you say the Blazers are a better younger Mavericks?
So both teams have similar offense, defense and best 2 players. Nothing to see here folks :lmao
Re: Would you say the Blazers are a better younger Mavericks?
They don't have a similar offense, nor do they have a similar defense:lol..
Both teams ranking as great offenses and below average defenses doesn't = similarity in schemes and style..

Lillard: Went from 20.7 ppg on 56.8 TS% to 25.5 ppg on 66.5 TS% (he won't keep playing like this...those are LeBron-esque numbers when it comes to combining volume with efficiency).
We already saw Aldridge's performance start to dip towards the end of the Houston series. Now, that might've partially been due to him getting tired as the series went on, but some of it was simply due to him regressing to his mean.
Are you only looking at one side of the equation though? Anyone on the Spurs play above their head and are due a regression to mean?
I can think of one tbqh.

Our entire bench played below their standards for most of the series. I'd say that would offset Splitter's unusually good play, yes? Parker played poorly for most of the series as well. Duncan was Duncan. As for Manu...he might dip a little, but I have faith that he'll continue bringing it. He's been playing well all season.
Re: Would you say the Blazers are a better younger Mavericks?
Nowhere near the experience though.
Re: Would you say the Blazers are a better younger Mavericks?
Sure why not..
Is it time to play yet?

They're like a better version of Orlando.
