Re: Do the Spurs split/take both/ lose both?
I'm gonna say split. Refs won't allow us to take game 3.
Then again, Stern's gone now. . .maybe it'll be legit from now on?

Spurs lose Game 3, show up to win Game 4 and then turn the lights off on Portland in Game 5.

Re: Do the Spurs split/take both/ lose both?
Spurs take game 3. I'm confident about that. Not sure if they'll win game 4, though, because Portland will fight their asses off to not get swept...but spurs still might win, lol. Spurs in 4 or 5

I'm not predicting a sweep, but if we do it will hardly be shocking.
It's amazing how overconfident Spurs fans have become after predicting gloom and doom just a week before. :lol

Re: Do the Spurs split/take both/ lose both?
Split. My gut says POR comes out desperate and wins game three, shooting their emotional wad. Spurs win game 4, and close 'em out in SAtown.
If POR fucks up and loses game 3, it's broom time.

This. Pacers and Clips could take us to 6, Nets and Wizards to 5. But OKC and Miami only teams that could actually win (though I'd pick the Spurs, of course).

Is this the first time you predicted the Spurs winning a series? :lol

It's more comparable to the 2012 vs. Clippers series if anything.
CP3 = Lillard
Griffin = Aldridge
Jordan = Lopez
Mo Williams = Mo Williams
Kenyon Martin = Thomas Robinson
Mix of Butler, Foye, Evans, and Young = Batum and Mathews.

Re: Do the Spurs split/take both/ lose both?
I would be shocked if we didn't get at least one out of two there. Best road team in the league. This team will be ultra focused and have one of their best games yet in Portland.

Re: Do the Spurs split/take both/ lose both?
The Spurs have one eye on OKC, intent on keeping up. Therefore, they win tonight.

Re: Do the Spurs split/take both/ lose both?
As long as lillard does not take over the way ellis did, Spurs might win both or split ....
-
Re: Do the Spurs split/take both/ lose both?
Win one and lose one in Portland.

Re: Do the Spurs split/take both/ lose both?
I expect a Gm 3 loss, Gm 4 win

Re: Do the Spurs split/take both/ lose both?
Game 3 will be one of those home games where they go out and play with attitude and killer instinct, but the Spurs just need maintain focus on defense, use the experience of star veterans players, coaching and leverage tactic.
The Spurs'll be fine nexts road games. Keep the intensity defensive, ball movement and play smart. :flag:

Can't remember the last time I saw a game 3 complete dismantling of a home team like that, especially one where the road team would go up 3-0 with the win. That was ruthless and efficient.

Re: Do the Spurs split/take both/ lose both?
I guess this is going to be a sweep tbh.

Game 3 against the (mummified shell of the) Lakers last year? :lol
Yeah, I know that doesn't really count, but still...

Spurs just have to stay focus and execute on the key areas that we have all discussed (rebounding/to's). If they do that, I don't care where they are at, they should at least be in every game which is all you want.
Get greedy.
