I love Fisher. He's now going to shoot the fuck out of the ball every time he has a chance, and he's not the best 3pt shooter in the league. You want a guy like that to get hot in the 1st game, he's guaranteed to keep flinging them, just like you want RW to take those 3s over and over. You'll live with the percentages.

Cuban's one of the more likeable owners in the NBA. Always willing to spend and keep his team competitive. Not to mention his willingness to talk shit to Stern. We hate him because he's the owner of a division rival but there's no comparison between him and Fish. That faggot used his daughter's condition as an excuse to leave Utah, then sign with the Lakers. Used it again on the Mavs to sign with OKC.

Cuban blew up a championship team. Who does that? Not a guy that's willing to spend to keep his team competitive. Cuban is smart, he wants to appear to be competitive but doesn't want to actually pay to be at that level else he resigns his championship team.

He was chasing Dwight/Dwill. Even he knew the 2011 championship for the Mavs was a bit flukey. Giving MLE money to Barea would have been a mistake. Butler fell off after 2011 and didn't deserve 8 mil/year. They probably should have resigned Chandler but even he's been inconsistent and injury prone since his year in Dallas.

As far as Cuban not willing to spend - Dallas has paid over a $150 million in luxury tax over the past decade. The only team that's spent more than him over that period is the Knicks:

There's nothing flukey about winning a championship, else other teams would fluke their way into one and it doesn't happen. Mark didn't want to pay to win another ring. Don't you find it odd that he spent 18 million in luxury taxes the year he wins the ring, but only 2m the following year? He took the profit, like I said. You don't get a championship team easily, and that's evidenced by all the years he spent money in the luxury tax region, yet the year it pays off, he cashes in.
