Isiah still thinks Wade is the key to the series, I still agree, Boris on the Spurs and Wade on the Heat are the players to watch... Wade had a terrible second half yesterday after 2006 Wade torched everyone in the first half, would have to go look back at what happened but it's very important to keep him in check...

So, Thomas is actually questioning if Wade is healthy? I understand the Lebron excuse but they're reaching now with Wade. He's in much better shape than TP, did "Zeke" acknowledge that?

Re: 2014 NBA Finals - Game 2: Heat @ Spurs
People keep talking about the Heat up 4 when LeBron went out. But every player needs a breather at some point, regardless of the reason. When LeBron went out for good, the Spurs were up 2, if memory serves. But let's just go with Heat up 4. For purposes of using game-1 to preview game-2, let's take everything that happened after LeBron left out of the equation. The closing minutes of the 4th never happened. So here's my takeaway from game-1:
The Spurs turned the ball over 23 times and got nothing from Leonard or Green (again, taking away closing minutes of 4th).
The good news for the Heat is that, in my view, they played much better than the Spurs and were up 4 points when LeBron went down.
The bad news for the Heat is that they played much better than the Spurs and were up 4 points when LeBron went down.
I was thinking at the time ... I can't believe it's this close. The Spurs will be sharper in game-2, and after watching game-1, I don't think the Heat can handle the Spurs at their best. A few pundits have gone as far as to predict the Spurs will win in 5. I can't go that far (though I think it's very possible), but I'll be at least a little surprised if the series goes 7 games.

Think you need to rephrase this. The one game losing streak ends no matter what the outcome of game 2. It either goes to 2 game losing streak( preferable outcome) or they start on a win streak.

Yeah I know it was poorly worded. Pretty much end their streak of avoiding b2b losses in the playoffs.

Well all the media hype today has been about LeBron's absence being the difference maker in the game last night, so Sunday's game will be an opportunity for the Spurs players to show how thy can beat Miami with LeBron in the line-up for the whole game.
Sunday's game: LeBron wanting to show he's not the wuss that some accused him of being after he left the game, and the Spurs wanting to show that they can win with the entire Heat line-up for the entire game.
It looked to me like ALL the players were exhausted at the end of the game last night, but I thought that the Spurs were executing better even though they were worn out and hot. I believe, fwiw, that we would have won the game had LeBron been able to play all the way through, but the score would have been closer.

Might look for Wade to develop a mysterious limp in the 2nd half of game 2.

Sunday will bring a reckoning and tell us who really is in control of this series.

She's all up in the Heat's business so she probably got knocked up by Birdman...oh wait a minute, he's a pedophile fuck, never mind. Maybe Pat Riley hit that.

He kind of couldn't get anything going because of early foul trouble, but I agree.

The Heat haven't lost 2 in a row in the playoffs in how long? I think the Spurs control the series if they win Game 2.
