When I looked last week and assumed $63m cap, let Daye walk and re-sign Bonner for the minimum we had about $11-12mil - so to me that looks like re-sign Diaw, Patty, MLE.

Why break up this team? Especially when you have your succession plan in place with Kawhi, Splitter, Patty, Baynes, SloMo, Diaw and maybe Parker if he feels like sticking around. No way they will break this up IMHO.

Hmmmm, I thought, even with Boris's cap hold, that if SA essentially renounced all FA's other than Boris and declined the option on Daye they would have around 8M. Could then sign a FA & re-sign Boris for whatever at that point. Am I mistaken?

Actually, I think it was renounce everyone but Patty and have 8M in cap space.
