Obvious topics of discussion for the upcoming season
I got "Should Patty get his backup PG position back or should we remain riding the CoJo express?", you know it's happening. What you got?

Re: Obvious topics of discussion for the upcoming season
Why hasn't Kawhi got more ISO plays? Pop is stifling Kawhi's development.

Because we're not a fucking isolation team? Do you even watch the spurs :rollin
If Kawhi could dribble he'd get the ball more in P&R situations.

Why don't we sign Andray Blatche he's young and can produce

Are you a fucking moron? No ISO's in the post? I'm pretty sure we don't fucking pass the ball or PNR the entire game. We still throw the rock to TD a lot every game. I'm pretty sure that pass happy shit with role players doesn't get you past the mavs.
The season is to develop our players. Kawhi in the future when Manu and Tim leave, and he'll have to be a better offensive player. He will need an arsenal.
Kawhi's main strengths are ISO shooting or slashing to the rim or posts. He is more ISO heavy on offence when he is initiating the offence. It's like you're just a fucking terrible troll. :lmao

LOL LMAO This is AUGUST 12. The season is over. Has been for 2 full months and you have the ignorance to ask this question now? Pop is the coach and we just won the LOB trophy for the 5th time under his leadership. Get a life dude. He will use Kawhi more this next season but it will still less than fans like you want. The Spurs will win 55+ games be in the top 3 in the West and make the WCF and maybe even the Finals.

- Gutless Worms
- It's obvious we're scared and not going to beat OKC
- Manu is made of glass
- Reggie Jackson bogeyman
- Team X improved, we got fat and happy and stood pat. I called this last august, now in october it's too late to do anything about it
- This FO is negligent
- Watch this team lose HCA despite a 10 win lead
- Why are we running Diaw ragged?

2. Why is Ayres, Bonner, etc. getting more minutes than Kyle Anderson
3. The church of next mid season D-league player signing
4. Glad we traded Paul George, part 2
5. It's all the FO fault for not signing a big name free agent in the off season

Karma's a bitch. You've been a pain in the internet's ass for quite a while.
Joking aside, hope it gets better. I had a back issue and it took a long time to heal. If it's any consolation, it gets worse with age. You're welcome. Make sure to ice it, heat it, elevate it, exercise it, take the proper meds, and see a specialist. None of that will work, but it'll keep you busy.

I don't know. I think you guys should continue. I like it. Kawhi needs a few more touches, but not too many, but I think he'll get some. And, Jars is right: He can't really dribble.
Don't get me wrong, though, pleasantly surprised with his ball handling abilities. Better than expected. I was expecting another Bruce Bowen.
But, you two elaborate. We have until the 30th before even FIBA begins. How do we fill...the empty spaces...

Yeah, nothing ever really helps except trying to ignore the pain. :lol Thanks for the advice.

Re: Obvious topics of discussion for the upcoming season
IMO, Kawhi ISOs don't have to involve handles that much. He's already well above average in the post for a wing, and he's been isolated before where he has a solid mid-range jumper after a couple pump-fakes...
While I don't expect his stats to shine overall due to minute management, I do think his number will be called more often now.

Try elevating your legs when you sleep with some sort of leg wedge under your knees.

The pain comes and goes. I'm not even sure it's back pain. I'm thinking kidney stones. I worry though since I have a very high pain tolerance. Don't really know when to head to the ER. Damn near passed out in the bathroom last time. Usually passes by within a few hours though.

Diagnosing this stuff is tricky. I remember having some pain in my back side after passing out in a bathroom stall. When you woke up, were your pants on?

This is actually a legitimate concern, as other posters have noticed too, tbh.
I liked Pop "leadership" comment to TP in the Finals, euphemism for "stop chucking and give the ball to Manu and Kawhi, we want to win this", I'm hoping it translates to next season, but you never know...

I have a feeling Parker is going to try to come back and show that last year wasn't a decline, it was just an injury-riddled season.
That certainly could mean we see more MVParker.

:lol it is not a legit concern
I always like your sidebacked compliment toward Parker, always a joy to read.
The comment about chucking is also silly when we talk about a .5 from the floor. The leadership comment to TP had nothing to do with chucking. During these POs Parker had a 15 FGA per game that's 2 less than last year but same amount than in 2009-2010. Dude is just doing whatever Pop and him think is good for the team.
Fwiw there is a long interview of Boris in l'equipe mag (French magazine), he said for instance TP announced at one point during the games he will get rid of the ball quickly to him or Manu because of the way opponent is defending.
You make it sound like somebody has been obliged to tell him to go on the back seat when basically he is fully capable to see that by himself. Moreover all FNT management will tell Parker don't care about his stats, he cares about winning games and titles. If he was a selfish prick like ST like to describe him he would never stay in that team for so long under pop management or even be best buddy of a guy like Boris.
Like Dale would say... let us proceed

Look, Rob...you know that I love your cliff-jumping self. (And in saying that you do remember that I'm not a guy, right?) Get yourself to a doc-in-a-box and get this checked out. I can tell you for sure that if you are in that much pain it needs to get checked out. This is advice from an 'over-the-hill for sure' body who lives with back pain all the time. But I am old and it comes with age. You are, presumably, too young for that much pain.
Hope by the time I am sending this that you have gotten it checked out.

Topics of Discussion:
1). TP playing like a scrub.
2). Manu is finished.
3). TD = GOAT
4). Kawhi is the GOAT
5). Can we trade TP and get a good pg for him?
6). Can we trade Manu?

Re: Obvious topics of discussion for the upcoming season
Why isn't Leonard playing more, why doesn't he have a more featured role in the offense and why is Pop so hard on him?
Everyone should know the answers to the first two by now, but the answer to the third is, Pop not wanting his head to get too big because of the Finals MVP. He'll want to make sure he remembers the player he is (which is essentially being an elite role player, not an elite wing scorer) and to not develop the massive ego that most star players possess and most people in general develop when they become famous, or in his case, more famous.

I don't really know, but I'll be sure to ask Dec 1st...
I suspect it will largely depend on his health. If he's hurt a lot, he will probably hang them up. If he has another season like last, he'll probably keep going.
