Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Why do we need a second Errors?
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins

Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Longshot but good.
The Spurs already have Errors. Ayon and Baynes are way more preferable.

THe team must just be trolling now. No way they need to be looking at another big.

No doubt.

Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Just exploring options for Baynes doesn't come back or late season injury ..
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Agent tactic, come on now.

No doubt, they still have not signed anyone yet either with all these interested in threads :rollin:lol:lol

I doubt it even gets to 5. Hollins is a scrub.

Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Who the hell is Ryan Hollins? And why are we still trying to sign guys when we've signed 17 guys already -- 2 of which have to be cut in training camp in order to trim the roster down to 15.
At this point were just wasting the 50K you have to give these guys to go through training camp. And I'm sick of watching old and grainy highlight videos of washed up veterans who the Spurs are "interested in."
Ugh the life of a Spurs fan.

You need like 20 players in training camp. If you give them a bit of guaranteed money, they come to your camp over anyone else's, and become Toros property after being cut. The Spurs aren't anywhere near the tax, so that $50K doesn't mean much.

lol this guy got a top 100 dunk highlights. Seems like he can catch the ball better than Errors
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
The guy is a thug. And probably has the lowest bball iQ in the league bar some (Javale McGee has some serious competition).

I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate those vids. They think the Spurs need more goons.
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Kind of reminds me of the 11-12 off season. Spurs kept being linked to small guards when they had several (Neal, Mills, Cojo) and had just added De Colo.

Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
I'd take Hollins.. It would give us a bit of nastiness off the bench. We haven't had an enforcer type of player on the roster since DeJuan Blair left. I like his edge, length and athleticism. He also seems to have a way of getting under opponents skin much like Bowen used to do. If we don't re-sign Baynes, I'd take Hollins. He's a proven backup center..
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Fuck this nigga. This dude is a dirty player. Every time we played the clippers, he'd always try and start shit with Duncan/splitter but didn't do shit when Baynes was in the game :lol pussy
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Well wouldn't it be nice to have a player with some nastiness on our team for a change. All he has to do is what Ayers hasn't been able to... -catch passes and dunk.. Maybe block a few shots. He'd be playing very limited minutes anyways. I like how he's got a bit of a mean streak to him.
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
He's really quite terrible.
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Nope that shit will cost us. Just look at what and how blair fucked things up for the mavs in the first round. We just won a championship without a knucklehead. Let someone else deal with his shit
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Hollins sucks. :lol Not even a "proven" back-up center.

You watch a highlight video and conclude that he can catch better than Ayres? Really?
They don't show the misses/bobbles in those things, you know.
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Yuck. Jesus Christ just fucking pay Baynes. I would pay Baynes like a hostage taker just to avoid Hollins and that retarded looking Mexican dude. I would rather have Ayres as the 4th big and let Jaeymychaeil Green absorb minutes tbh.
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
CIA Pop knowing people would start appreciating Ayers more if Hollins is around.

So, I guess you're his biggest fan and you've followed every single game he's played? Lol

From the little I've seen of him, I'd have to agree with this. There's games against the Spurs in the last few seasons where he's acted like a complete dickhead towards some of our players.
Not interested. Fuck him.

You're a complete fuckwit. The point isn't who's a fan of who. The point is that you cannot use a YouTube highlight film to judge a player's skill set. Everyone looks like an All Star on YouTube. Hell, Ayres/Pendergraph has highlight reels out there, and HE NEVER DROPS THE BALL.
-

You're a homo. I don't care if you agree with me or not. If you don't want to see opinions of other people, get off the message boards. Plain and simple fagboy.

Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Doesn't bring anything terribly special, nor does he strike me as a player who has "gotten over himself".
No thanks.
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
I can't stand this guy. One of the biggest pieces of shit in the league. He also happens to be absolutely terrible.
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
I think Hollins would be the first Spur that I'd actively be rooting to receive a career-ending injury during games. Fuck that dude.
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Baynes is so much better than Hollins .... Cheaping out on Baynes with Hollins as a consolation would be unfortunate
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
I don't like this guy on the Spurs.
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Hollins is a bitch and it showed every time he played against us...DO NOT WANT!
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Hollins might be the only big in the league who I wouldn't want over Ayres.
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
He's the asshole that intentionally injured Splitter

Yeah we really lacked a dumb low IQ enforcer like Blair single handedly losing Dallas that game where he kicked Splitter in the head

Yep, still one of the dumbest plays of that idiots career and he is very dumb it seems. Blair and his team rolling, then get gets ejected while his team on a huge run and he sparking it and............ They blew the series there IMO, if they win that game they win the series then bone head goes and does that crap. I am sure Hollins could pull that too, but he is even less talented than Blair.
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Blair sure made a difference against us in the first round of last years playoffs though. He was definately a difference maker -Other than his flagrant kick to Tiago's head he did an excellent job against the Spurs. None of our players were able to match his physicality and energy.... He definately had a hand in helping his team push us to the brink and coming closer to winning a 7 game series against us than any other team did. I do realize in the end he cost them the game, but his physicality and energy were part of the reason why they were even competitive in the series in the first place. We had no answer to his fire off their bench.. Re-watch the series again and you can re-live how much of a problem he was..

The reason the Mavs were in the series is because the spurs thought they could coast against a team whose number they've had since 2012-2013 (maybe even before that) That's all that was. It wasn't until game 7 the spurs played spurs basketball. It was clear who the better team was. It's not like we won a game 7 down to the wire nail biter. If the spurs played like that every game in that series it's over in 4... 5 at the most. Period.
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
You're in denial if you don't think DeJuan Blair was even somewhat of a factor. Re-watch the series again...
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
The Blair troll has another account?
Blair is horrible, Spurs didn't care about that series, they had zero pick n roll defense and we blew them out by like 50 in last 2 home games
-
Re: Spurs Reportedly interested in Ryan Hollins
Blair is the opposite of Hollins. DeJuan is incredibly skilled for a bigman (outside of shooting). He just lacks the measurables. Hollins has the tools, just not the talent. Both may have bad attitudes, but that's pretty much where it stops. I'd rather have Blair on my team any day, though.

never said i wanted dragic. this was a report that the spurs were interested in hollins, and i called bullshit on it. the spurs being "interested" in a player has been a common agent scheme in recent years. the dragic article was supposedly about his own preferences

Spurs are going into this season with the championship roster, plus Kyle Anderson. Not that it isn't fun to speculate or shudder to think, just that we all know it's pointless.
