Washington isn't a chump team but it was a winnable game.
All of the Big 3 were underwhelming tonight. TP moved well but slowed down by the 4th and turned the ball over too much. Manu may be past his expiration date. It's rare we see the magic he gave us in the 2014 playoffs.
And Timmy couldn't make easy shots, which has been a recurring issue.
I believe in this team and when I look at the sad state of the NBA (star-wise), I still have hope. And we are missing a healthy Kawhi. But it might be the case that the Spurs are finally just too old. It could make the playoff mountain too hard to climb.
There's NO excuse for the Spurs to lose this one.. The big 3 are ok. They rested for how many days it was?
No Kawhi but they are playing against the Wizards
Like I said @ halftime.
Pop :wtf ??? Extended minutes for Ayres? That was a fluke performance the other night. It only happens once in a blue moon. :lol
Ok..let's move on...again.
Next!
-Tony has obviously lost a step but he's not as bad as he looked tonight tbh. It's on Pop to not run the offense through him when he's obviously nowhere close to playing good basketball
-CoJo is just useless when he's not the primary ballhandler. He'll give you some good defense regardless but he's better than being non-existent on offense when TP/Manu are on the floor. Again, on Pop to realize that
-Splitter did better tonight but I'm really disappointed by his play so far. He's not rebounding well and his defense has been average at best all year long. Really no excuses as he's been back for a while now.
-Hopefully Kawhi comes back soon and the team is relatively healthy ROS because Pop is struggling with lineups. It's just very clear he has no idea what to do at this point of the season. Injuries have been a huge factor but some of his decisions make zero sense tbh....
One of the things I think that hurt was Patty sat for a very long time right after he had the hot hand. A Pop move per par.
Even when he finally got in they didn't seem have much effort at trying to get him the ball
I'm still not in panic mode. Not until Kawhi returns. What gives me hope is that the Spurs have essentially been in every game despite being so short-handed. I would panic more if they were getting blown out every game. It's obvious they really miss Kawhi.
This team is fucking shit in the 4th quarter.
spur fans need to relax. :lol
the only thing that should worry you is enrique's presence. dude is your new richard jefferson. :lmao
Spurs just don't have it this year. Don't know if health can cure their ills.
The Wizards 21 FTs are way too many :cry
Spurs only 8 FT
And Spurs rebounding was :td
Not a bad loss, all things considering...

Wizards are a really good team, wouldn't be shocked if they make the finals in the shitty East and win a game or two in the finals whoever they play. Lets beat the Hornets tomorrow.
It was just brought to my attention that we had a 17-game winning streak against the Wiz. Hadn't lost to them since 2005. Bummer.
Another loss that put us in big trouble, now with PHX getting sharper and in better shape lately and OKC getting healthy and with the great addition of Waiters it's become very scary in the west for us, i hope we make the playoff...
That is the TRUTH, the champs are not clutch and bad in the 4th Q, sounds very weird to say as they are vets and usually good in years past late in games.I agree with this here, hope you are wrong but it seems they don't have it this year but health has been a big blow to them so maybe they can get healthy and GET IT.That part ALONE would be a reason not to relax TBH.
