Higdon on Art Briles:
Sooner or later it becomes less about football and more about doing the right thing for these young men. The “He Said — She Said” is out of control and who knows what each kid did or didn't do. One thing I can tell you is Art Briles was 100% made aware of every single action of the young man in question (From what I am told) He understood the risks and proceeded because he needed a player to rush the quarterback, and that was the message he explained back to Peterson (From what I am told.)
Per Inside Texas, CB Eric Cuffee will take an official to UT on Sept. 19th against Cal.
Same weekend as S Deontay Anderson.
Cuffee will be officially visiting Notre Dame next weekend for the UT game.
