Progress has been pretty slow outside of football. Facilities for bball especially a huge problem that seems to be in permanent limbo. Still Southland level in a lot of ways, but the move up was faster than expected.Quote:

Guys at Inside Texas have been discussing Patterson's ouster for a while, and they noted the qualities targeted in the next AD. Their booster source noted the following before this announcement even took place: "Instead of bringing in a guy that’s all bottom line oriented, the guy being talked about will be someone who can win the facility arms race, introduce a better game day atmosphere, and do things with uniforms and the like to improve recruiting."
