"Had an interesting conversation yesterday with an NFL guy about CFS. I have been critical of his recruiting style – and I’ve been wrong. I say this 2 days before NSD because the avalanche is coming and the class will be better than the experts say. He tells me our 2015 class has 9 certain pros – maybe more. It is early but Scouts are especially impressed with Jefferson, Williams, Burt, Hill and Warren, in that order. He says Charlie recruits differently. He tells guys he will take longer because he evaluates until the last minute so not to worry if an offer is late. Tells them he does not pay attention to stars but he watches film. Best example last year is 3 star Williams, criminally underrated. He tells them when he offers it is likely because they can make the pros. And this is why he flips so many late. Oh, he thinks we get Fowler.
All our guys are waiting until NSD because ESPN has promised them slots back to back. The avalanche is coming and this is why ESPN and other services are starting to report we will have a big day.Just passing this along, if you knew my source, you would be even happier."
