8 turnovers and a missed FT is the only reason we.... fuck it, can't get through to manustan

Re: 37 year old backup shooting guard averaging more APG than our starting point guar
Updated numbers after tonight:
Manu:
5.0 Assists per game
2.4 TO/game
Enrique:
4.8 Assists per game
2.7 TO/game
Bonus stat:
Reggie Jackson:
4.9 Assists per game
2.2 TO/game
:lol OKC's backup is a better point guard than our $60 million starter

Re: 37 year old backup shooting guard averaging more APG than our starting point guar
Manu has ALWAYS been a better passer than Tony.
So is it really a surprise when Manu gets more minutes because Parker has been injured and now shaking the rust off (hopefully) that he gets more assists?
Really?
The amazing thing is that Manu has not broken down... Hopefully. If he plays with a tight back he is going to overcompensate and injure something else. He needs rest. It is now time for Parker to take over the major ball handling duties along with CJ until he regains his game speed. Right now Parker needs to be a manage the game no TO kinda QB. Testing the waters with occassional penetrating moves.
Patience.

Agree completely. And Tony has been the better assist guy for the Spurs (Manu has always been #2 there), so there's no reason he can't be that guy again.

The Tony Parker thread
With the death of Anthony Mason today due to heart failure from excessive weight gain over the years, would it be irresponsible of the Spurs organization to continue watching Tony Parker destroy his body, tbh?
Basketball aside, as a member of the Spurs family, shouldn't the organization take action and send a message?
Pop and Parker had a talk prior to the Kings game, apparently, but is that enough?
I know many of us have been unhappy with his play on the court, but the man just had a child, I don't want to see him dying at 40, tbh..

It's a valid concern for sure...
Do the spurs have team nutritionist?

For those who believe Tony Parker put on weight
Would you care to share some recent pictures that back up why you feel this way?

Re: The Tony Parker thread
Harlem, apo, crew etc. Is the title of this an indication that this the isofficial Harlem crew Tony Parker discussion thread? Or is this just the thread for Tony Parker death dream fan fiction?
Please consider doing the first or else renaming the thread "wherein I ponder on obesity and morbidity of certain nba players who have gained weight"
Plz also note that while I'm not a friend of tpark it's pretty classless to bring a forum member into a discussion without reason. This is pretty low.

Re: The Tony Parker thread
back to back
also parker did not take shots others were hitting
nice that he was not
also when you have a bad groin and hamstring back to back games your jumper will not fall
he did look more confident out there
leonard was on fire
spurs need either leonard or parker on fire
leonard on the road trip was not alot better then tp on the o end
both need to play well against some times to win
lets see what tp does against kings with three days of rest
