L.A and Gasol aren't even pipe dreams. Its too difficult to clear cap to even off a max deal without letting Green walk or trading Splitter for picks and cap space. Like Wrights game and has been very productive over the last 4 or five seasons. If TD retires, he could be a solid, stop gap (27 mpg), starter until the Spurs figure out their next move. Probably would be able to get on a reasonable deal.
