Difference between Kerr and Bud. Bud actually built that team. Acquired Korver, Williams, Muscala, Carroll, Schroder, Sefolosha.
I think the only mainstays on that roster pre Bud era are Teague and Horford.
Kerr basically took over a team Jackson had put together. That is why, imo, the writers voted for Bud, because you can say he was a self made man, whereas Kerr, was that kid that inherited what he got.

He had an undefeated recorded. What sold me on Bud was the last game against GS when the spurs won 50 games in the short season. Spurs came out like crap in the first half. Bud look so much like a nice guy but he was steaming on the sideline. I had never seen him so pissed. The Spurs came out in the 2nd half and clean the floor against a depleted Warriors team (remember Manu, Parker or Duncan weren't playing either).Quote:
