Phil is the Robert Horry of coaches. Did some good stuff, but was mostly involved with teams that had what it takes to win. He just made some decent moves at the right time, like Robert. Big Shot Phil.

I agree Phil is extremely overrated as a coach, I meant more from an ego standpoint..he's probably the most arrogant and egotistical coach in NBA, maybe sports history, just like Kobe/DK..there's a reason his coaching tree is what it is IMO..

Only a franchise as stupid as the Knicks would pay him all that money to run their team:lol..
