TO CLARIFY.....I say he plays like a roll player. Only because he has shown that higher gear on offense and defense. But like in Game 1 i didn't see either. So He gets the role player tag.
PS it's Rollplayer not role player.

DPOY IS pretty much the top roll player award so i don't see what the deal is. Think about it, did kawhi actually win the DPOY? No, Green mot more firstplace votes. But Leonard cleaned up on the roll player votes, that is 2nd and 3rd choices. See, so Kawhi is a roll player, a good one.

Lebron didn't get first place DPOY votes but got other votes. That makes him a role player too I guess.

Much more likely that Blake is a Spurs in 2017 than it is that Kawhi is a Clipper.

Lol, I think people get 'role' confused in basketball because both are used pretty often. Like you have a guy like Splitter who's a great role-player as well as being a great roll-man.

I readily admit I ws one of those calling Leonard a role player. But it's evident that he's now blossomed into a veritable superstar and top 5 player in the NBA.
