If the Rockets didn't lose so many of its players, of course it would have had a chance. Even a healthy Mutumbo would have made a significant difference. By Game 7, the Rockets starting center was Chuck Hayes. They were down T-Mac, Yao and Mutumbo.

So as I was saying, they were an injured player or two from a title.

Of course there would be locker room problems for a second straight year. I don't see Dwight coming back.
