The funny thing is though, for all the Jeff's out there saying it's normal, it's not (at least not this FA). Every single other bigger FA had a finite list of teams and made decisive decisions with much less "drama" or leaks. In this FA, LMA is the only one standing out from the norm.
That doesn't mean he's wrong, but literally every other big FA who had a tough decision made their decision quickly because they knew what they wanted. Many left their existing playoff teams that went further than POR and left the guaranteed money on the table too.

On the flip side, wouldn't you want a player who, given an important career and financial decision, took his time, went through the process, and focused on gaining an understanding of the basketball direction of each franchise he was meeting with? The fact that he met with the Lakers and wasn't wowed by the 'Hey, we're the Lakers' pitch is part and parcel of this mindset.
