Re: Manu Ginobili 2 years room exception
Manu at $2 million is a steal. Even in decline, he could fetch more than that from a contender out there. I mean, the guy can play 1, 2, and 3 spots. That's a lot of flexiblity and depth. It will come in handy this season.

I am not clear on weather Ginobili is underpaid or overpayed.

Not overpaid, but just feel between him and West the RE should've gone to West. For reason stated above by in2deep

Don't worry. The Spurs will take care of West next season when they have a boatload of money given the increase in the cap and the retirement of Manu (and probably Tim).
Re: Manu Ginobili 2 years room exception
David West pulled a Big Dog Robinson, tbh... you take care of family first...
Re: Manu Ginobili 2 years room exception
Manu certainly wasn't overpaid this go-round. This is right at where he should be tbqh.

Hopefully you're right :tu the guy earned nothing but respect after pulling off what he did this summer
EDIT: right about the paying West back part :lol You won't see me complaining if Tim & Manu don't hang them up
Re: Manu Ginobili 2 years room exception
What does Manu's contract means in regards to Patty Mills?
I assumed Manu would've needed to take less money for Spurs to keep Mills no? Just looking for clarification....or is Patty still signed with the Spurs through next summer?

Let's see how you compare Jim's to LMA's

Hey, we all remember when Parker tied Game 6 by doing that...you don't have to remind us.

Tim Duncan is clearly the player who left more money on the table to help the Spurs, and right after him, is Manu Ginobili.
I donīt understand the complaining here, you prefer to reward someone who gave you nothing instead of someone who has consistently help you??
Thatīs not the message you wanna send West, Aldridge or anyone, you want to show that you reward those who sacrificed first.
Letīs not forget that West is not doing this FOR THE SPURS, but for himself, he wants to winand the Spurs are his mean.
