Could Cuban rent us dirk for a season? Of course dirk would have to be on board not sure if the German has the hair on the chest for it.

Clippers improved. Adding Stephenson and Pierce to their wing positions pretty much plugged up a giant weakness. Pierce also adds some much need clutch mentality.

I think there's a good chance the Clippers and Spurs will meet in the playoffs. The West is pretty tough with the reigning champs, improved Clippers, and Thunder if healthy. The first round should be easier though. Blazers and Mavs will probably fall out of playoff contention allowing new first round fodder to claim a spot.

The best part is if we play the clips in the playoffs Cuban will be forced to root for the Spurs.

Meh--interstate rivalries are great and all, but if you can't put that aside in this case, you are one cold hearted S.O.B. The Mavs got royally screwed, and I'm on board with beating the Clipps into the ground on their behalf. The fact that we owe them payback as well just makes it sweeter.

Lol. Imagine Dirk off the bench for the Spurs getting tons of open looks courtesy of Manu and Diaw. It'd be candy. Highest bench output in league history. Plus, with the reduced minutes, Dirk could go another three years. I know it won't happen, but Cuban could really put the screws to the rest of the NBA and get Dirk a couple more chips in the process.

JMHO.

I was really happy with the Jordan move to Dallas 'cause that would have made LA mediocre and Dallas would have stayed that way. Jordan is overrated but he's a matchup problem for us.
