Re: Has David West Officially Signed Yet?
Whoa, might changed West's mind like " I gave you a 90% discount, still you don't have enough dough to afford me?
I'll go $omewhere else..it's not my fault, ..."

Very true, and also consider that I think he's locked into our deal at this point as I don't think there's many other buyers. I don't think the Pacers are gonna turn around and offer him 12 mil again. :lol

Re: Has David West Officially Signed Yet?
I just can't believe what this idiot is saying just because David West decided to sign with the Spurs @ the vet. minimum.
David needs a pschological evaluation?
NBA players' association needs to investigate Popovich?
Pop abused West :cry?

Re: Has David West Officially Signed Yet?
I am not worried at all ... the thing Jordan did happens once every few years.

Re: Has David West Officially Signed Yet?
Someone mentioned that David West jersey was available on Spurs fan shop home page, so I'm guessing the Spurs faxed the contract over and West faxed it back. Will probably hear something by Monday that will make it official.

I know players back out at the last moment every few years like you just said....
But, I don't ever remember a "max contract" guy doing it. You got any names?

no, its just this way of thinking. something happens and everybody fears it will happen again immediately. plane crashes ... Paul George injury ... its a mental thing I know. but comparing mental midget Deandre with West ... no way.

Re: Has David West Officially Signed Yet?
Spurs must sign Marjanovic before signing West, Ginobili, Green and Leonard.
Marjanovic signing isn't a quick one because:
- He must travel to SA to pass his physical.
- NBA must receive his letter of clearance from the FIBA.
The physical part should be solved in the next couple of days but the letter of clearance might take more time depending on how quickly FIBA and the Serbian basketball federation are working.
I would say that the best case scenario for signing West would be Monday or Tuesday but it could very well be at the end of next week.

They didn't but they will have to waive him to sign Marjanovic (if reports are accurate that he will be paid $2M).
And BTW, Simmons can officially be signed before Marjanovic so I expect it to be Spurs next move.

Re: Has David West Officially Signed Yet?
So how much exactly West gave up after the taxes difference between the two states being calculated? I want to donate him the all amount...
