Re: Game Thread: Spurs vs. Blazers 3:00 EST (2:00/c, 10:00 Riga Time)
Once again, Simmons with the high turnover count. He's a nice player, but TOs were a problem in Austin last season and they are still a problem. Maybe he can clean that up but sometimes, players don't because they are just too carefree or, as in Manu's case... too avant garde with the ball.

Gotta believe Eddie's shooting gets him a camp invite, right?

Would hope so, but he's a long shot to make the actual team.

If Becky Hammon subs him out of the game for defensive reasons, then that's enough of a bad indicator. Hammon thinks his defense is non-existent.

Paul Garcia PS @PaulGarciaPS
Coach Hammon says the Spurs' familiarity with Simmons over the last two years allows them to trust him with the offense late.

There have been worse players who have been invited to camp. An invite isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of the team.

Looks like Becky is doing a great job. Two wins and close game loss (against a loaded Knicks team with Fisher coaching).

I couldn't play for Becky if she stares like that. It'd be flappin all around the shorts tbh.

I don't think he's good enough to make the roster but, that shot is clean.

His Defense is a looooong way from Verde strange they'd make the comparison, Danny was on the ALL-ACC defensive team.

I, like many others, was hoping for a good defensive big in the off season. Bobi, while interesting, doesn't appear to be that. So, I was looking forward to seeing more of Ndoye. From his box score, he got two blocks and was 4\4 from the line. I missed the game, and didn't see anyone comment on him. I assume he was as underwhelming as his 0\3 shooting, and zero rebounds, 3 fouls, 2 turnovers in ten minutes? He seemed pretty agile for a big last time I watched him

Men with thinner beards have to allow the hair to grow a bit longer before it weighs down and begins to take shape. Even if you have a carpet growing out of your face you still get the effect it just starts to weigh down before it grows a full inch. It's not patchy out of the form and will probably grow in fine.

Are we really analyzing grown men's beards in the Game Thread?
This season needs to start already before you guys start doing dick measuring contests.

CROFL CROFL CROFL
If there's one thing the second generation ST posters love besides personal attacks and racist comments, it's evaluating the looks and attractiveness of other men.

Kyle Anderson sure took a lot of shots to get to 19. They need to trade him.
