Halloween is about when the first regular season will be. Pre-season about mid October.
Last season it was released mid-august, IIRC...
Last year it was August 14th..Pretty much a month from now..

I bet opening night will be either Warriors vs Lakers(Return of Kobe), Warriors vs Thunder(Return of Durant), or Warriors vs Spurs(Champions vs conference favorites & previous champions).
will they start the season a little earlier and cut pre season or is everything as it ever was?
Adam Silver's made a few comments about the need to stretch out the season and shorten pre-season, but I'm noticing that he seems to make these blanket kind of statements, then they just seem to go by the wayside. Just like with the whole Hack-a-Shaq thing. I guess we shall see.Quote:

Or play slightly more minutes on average but take full games off and play ~65-70 games.
