Re: Best and Worst Games you've ever been to.
BEST GAME:
Spurs vs Suns 2008 1st Round Game 1 2OT (TIMMY 3 Pointer)
I literally lost my voice from yelling so much. It was insane. Most exciting game ever.
Spurs vs Lakers 1999 WCSF Game 2
It was the loudest I had ever heard the dome. It was during the final seconds of the game. Duncan hits a hook shot with 7 seconds left to seal the win and man the dome got loud.
WORST GAME
Most of the games that I have been too they have won so I don't really have many to choose from.
Spurs vs Nets 2003 NBA Finals Game 2
I was excited about going to my first finals game. Seats were high up but was excited to be there. It was a letdown performance, i think we were down the whole game, had a chance there at the end but Jackson airballed a 3 pointer to tie the game.

3. 2008 Game 1 vs Suns in 1st Round of Playoffs - Tim Duncan makes 3 pointer to send game to double O.T. and eventual victory
4. 1989 - Opening Night vs Los Angeles Lakers - David Robinson and Sean Elliott's first regular season games as rookies.
5. 2000 - Spurs vs Atlanta - Sean Elliott's first game back after Kidney Transplant
6. 1990 - Bulls at Spurs - Drob's first game against MJ. Scored 33 pts / 21 Rebs in 112-111 victory.
7. 1983 - Lakers at Spurs - 1st and only double-header game. Spurs won appeal and were allowed to replay Norm Nixon's final FT attempt for 1st victory. Spurs won full game 2. I spoke to G. Gervin's brother while sitting on my older brother's shoulders. I was 12 and D. Gervin played for UTSA.
WORST
1. 2004 WC Semis G5 vs Lakers - Duncan fadeaway over Shaq, Fisher 0.4 game-winner.
2. 2006 WC Semis G7 vs Mavs - Down 1-3 in series, down 20 in the game, Manu 3 to tie, Dirk And-1 for OT.
3. 1995 WCF Game 1 vs Rockets - Horry makes jumper to seal game on road against Spurs.
4. 2003 WC R1 G1 vs Suns - Stoudemire banks in 3 to force OT, Marbury game-winning runner 3.
MEMORABLE GAMES
1. 1994 Opening Night vs Warriors - 1st game played at Alamodome. Water Cannons went off due to pregame fireworks
Sick, those are some classic games! G1 against the Suns was always one that I wish I had been at. Awesome list, thanks man.
Re: Best and Worst Games you've ever been to.
I've only been to two games, and one was great and one was horrible. Given that I live in Oregon both were at Portland.
Best: Spurs vs Blazers game 3 of 2013 playoffs
Worst: 2012 regular season game when Pop sat Duncan, Ginobili, Parker, and Splitter and the Spurs lost by 40. That was my first game ever and I was so excited to see Duncan and the Spurs play, and that happened. On top of that I went with pneumonia and an ear infection, nowhere near worth it.

That was R2 Game 1, just to clarify. The Spurs would lose Game 2 of that series.
And Manu's three in Game 7 was for the first lead of the game, with 32 seconds to go. Dirk's and-1 tied it up, forced overtime.
Re: Best and Worst Games you've ever been to.
I've only been to a handful of games, most of them pre-season or regular season. Almost all of them were Spurs victories.
1. 2008 Playoffs, Round 1 Game 1: Duncan erupts for 40 and 15, Finley forces OT with a game-tying three towards the end of regulation, Duncan famously forces double-OT with a three-pointer at the end of overtime, Ginobili wins it on a bank shot in the lane.
2. 2009 Regular Season: Largely forgettable, just a regular season game, but the Spurs get a steal with the game tied late in the fourth, Parker finds Manu in the right corner for three, he missed, the rebound falls to Parker in the low post, Tony spins and sinks a rainbow over his defender as time expires to give the Spurs the win.

That's right, thanks. Those are awesome games you posted btw. Is the Parker game winner the one against the 76ers where Elliott says "it's good" right before it goes in on the broadcast?

Honestly, it always bugged me that Parker took the really tough low percentage shot instead of flicking it to Ginobili for the open three...
Re: Best and Worst Games you've ever been to.
Best 2005 finals game 1- only finals game I have had the luck of going to. Great game we were down by 10 or 15 points in the first then took the lead by the end of the period.
Worst?? There are no worst for me... Win or lose we just go to support our team. However I was disappointed with fans at the first game I ever went to at the hemisfair arena. Random game against Utah in which we gave up the lead in the last few minutes. Fans started booing and throwing signs and other things on the court. Not to mention the pillar right in front of me....
Re: Best and Worst Games you've ever been to.
Best: game 2 against the nuggets in 2005
Worst: Derek Fisher's .4 shot in 2004
Re: Best and Worst Games you've ever been to.
Easy.
Best: All the NBA Finals games where they won at home.
Worse: .4 (I was sick to my stomach)

Yup, that's the one. I was near the top of the lower bowl, opposite corner from where Parker shot the game winner.

Man, so many people on ST were at that 0.4 game. Maybe it scarred us all so bad we had to join a community to cope.
