Dudes jersey will be hanging from the rafters at the AT&T centre some day that's for damn sure. With Kawhi and Aldridge there will be life after Duncan which we all thought might be a bit of a stretch. Hopefully after TD hangs em up Aldridge and Whi can be the best one two punch in the NBA and bring more titles to SA. Then we'll see Aldridge's jersey in the rafters to. Yeah i'm getting ahead of myself but its August, whatever

No he's incapable, trust me. He can bounce the ball off the court with his hands but he cannot dribble against defenders

Re: Four years ago, he was just a 19 year old kid who we wished would become like Bow
13 years ago there was another 19 year old who would win a finals MVP and start his rookie year and nobody expected much of him. Wonder what his name is?

I was just fucking around man honestly, see if someone would bite the bait. TP is what 33 now? I need to look up his age, but I know he came in the league in 01-02.

I just want that those two grab the ball dribbling together at the same time jump and dunk as french brothers with perfect coordination, if they do that thing that has never been done before well the playoffs are canceled and Spurs will become the new champions, its in the book of hidden rules :lol

Agreed. He has improved every season

Not only dribble with his left-weak hand, made the points, too.
-
Re: Four years ago, he was just a 19 year old kid who we wished would become like Bow
His In-and-Out dribble is top notch because of his huge hands. His crossover, hesitation and stepback are virtually non-existent so far.
-
Re: Four years ago, he was just a 19 year old kid who we wished would become like Bow
I love his drives but he doesn't dribble against defenders. It's the only thing non-splitter related thing that I looked for this season. We have the best all around 2-3 combo in the league and they are two of the worst ball handling wings in the nba.
-
Re: Four years ago, he was just a 19 year old kid who we wished would become like Bow
A pullup move is not dribbling. Simply because he is rarely checked so far from the basket. He's a wide open dunk and catch and shoot guy going into his 5th season
-
Re: Four years ago, he was just a 19 year old kid who we wished would become like Bow
Uhhh has he been quoted saying he wanted to be like Bowen? Am I missing something because I don't think there's too many kids out there aspiring to be like Bruce Bowen, no offense to his great name in Spurs lore

He can shoot 3's? Yes. He is a three-point shooter? No.
Korver, Curry, Green, Thompson, Belinelli, they're three-point shooters, not Kawhi.

Being a three shooter doesn't mean one's elite at it. If one is averaging three three attempts a game, he is a three shooter in that his team is relying on him to be able to make some threes in the system. Now, CoJo would make an odd three; but he wasn't a three shooter. He wasn't typically spotting up waiting for an opportunity to shoot threes like KL.
