Trophy hunting isn't the problem as your article points out. My question to those who are against legal trophy hunting is what is your solution to save the species if you eliminate the trophy tags? How will you recoup all of the lost private lands that were opened up because of hunting allowing the species more room to roam and increase their numbers? What will be the incentive for land owners to stop illegal poaching now that they won't be able to charge for legal hunts? How will the 200+ million dollars lost from legal trophy hunting be replaced in those regions?Quote:
